I have a question. We all live in a state that,FOREVER, has had snow and a lot of it. Why oh why do people keep buying vehicles that dont get through the snow!!! Quit complaining about snow plows and go get a vehicle that will ACTUALLY get through this crap!

I should correct myself a little bit. I dont believe smoke should be around those with lung issues,small kids or a person on oxygen.I even respect those who do not wish to have smoke in their homes.BUT!!!!! Public places should be just that......public places,for ALL of the public,not just smokers or non-smokers but ALL.This world is for all of us.

I dont understand why everyone is thinking "choices". Smokers no longer have a choice in the matter.There are currently 2 restaurants in Janesville that I know of that allow smoking and they are rather expensive.Makes it kinda hard to enjoy a night out at dinner and the movies.Other than that,smokers must suffer the non-smokers way.We are forced into the cold and shunned quite often. What about our rights?

Ok,Im getting upset now ! Everyone on here is all about the law,or regulation or personal feelings. What happened to a persons rights? Someone on here said"it is a smokers choice to smoke,but a non smoker has no choice to breathe"YES IT IS!! Dont go where smokers go!!Non smokers now own most of the country! LEAVE US SMOKERS ALONE!!!!!! Same as prohibition on alcohol,where there is a will there is a way,and smokers are no better or worse than an alcoholic!Can you people handle drunks around your kids? Think about this one!!!! I'll bet you can!

"numbers of smokers in general are low enough it's not an issue" Reality check here please!! We are not "low enough" that we are not an "issue". You just don't see us because of smoking bans.We have been driven out of just about every public spot there is! For what? To satisfy a non-smokers ideals? You don't like an establishment that allows smoking...DONT GO THERE! There are many more non-smoking places to go,leave us alone!

gazettefan..I had chronic asthma most of my childhood years that seriously limited me.I have now been a heavy smoker for 20 yrs. and have not had even 1 attack since I started! (I could probably outrun you,too)So take YOUR crap and go home! I will take cigarettes over asthma any day!

Maybe this sounds stupid,but,why not have both? Smoking and non-smoking bars and such.Why should one group suffer because of another? I am a smoker and I will never quit! Why shouldnt I be able to go to a bar just because I smoke? What about MY rights? Non-smokers own most of the country,please leave something for us! I cant even go out to dinner with my mother because she smokes and refuses to go anywhere because everything is non-smoking(except for 2 restaurants)
