Well put 916WI. I know 3 sisters who have never worked or contributed anything to the State. All 3 have children by multiple fathers. All 3 are very content. Their children are well fed and cared for and dress better than most kids I know from hard working families. What scares me is the message they are sending their own children. They are basically raising a whole new generation of State moochers!!

Okay Carlito... first of all, I don't think your audience here consists of too many "silver spoon fed" or "nose in the air" individuals. You live in a very middle to low middle class community. We all have seen poverty and we all know people who have lost jobs. I believe this community doesn't take a Hitler approach to the homeless and poverty stricken as you suggest. You are very good at being overly dramatic. The fact is that there are people who need help and we need to have programs to help them. As a tax payer, I am a contributor to those programs. Don't be so naive however to think that the State has not become a haven for scammers. I know both legit people in need and those who are taking advantage of the system. Of those I know, the scammers are outnumbering the legits 3 to 1. I'm sorry you are losing your income, I'm confident that the State will assist you.
