DJ,
Man I want a job like yours which allows so much time to proof-read over a hundred postings and correct the erroneous spelling but offer no opinion to the subject at hand.
Is your place of work taking applications?
Thank you.

This is really an effort to silence Christians and anyone else that is willing to tell the truth about homosexuality.
Day of Silence (DOS) is a nationwide push to promote the homosexual lifestyle in public schools,” said Donald Wildmon, chairman of the American Family Association, which is also urging parents to take action against such “intrusive, political exploitation” of the classroom.
First held in 1996 at the University of Virginia, the Day of Silence has been a tool of the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN) since 2001. Participants agree to refrain from speaking all day or part of the day as a way to protest the “silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies ....” Protesters wear T-shirts and hand out “speaking cards.” Typically organized by a school’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA), the event is designed to pressure students to regard homosexual, bisexual and transgender behavior as normal.
Common is the story of a Christian kid who comes home from school (or college) to accuse his or her parents of being ‘homophobic,’ ” LaBarbera writes on the AFTAH Web site. “Mom and dad are bigoted squares, it seems, if they fail to embrace the history-defying notion that people deserve legal rights (and respect) based on changeable sexual misbehavior.
Our schools are supposed to be places of learning, not places of political indoctrination. It is the height of impropriety and cynicism for ‘gay’ activists and school officials to use children as pawns in their attempt to further a highly controversial and polarizing political agenda.

"Why is the club called the Gay/Straight Alliance? Why reduce it to orientation? Why not have a title that reflects their "stated" mission? e.g. Student Alliance for Fair Treatment? I think I know why they don't use that example. Because it is a recruitment, promotional club for the homosexual behavior. Kind of an oasis for that lifestyle."
I have asked this question twice localboy, none of the proponets of the gay/straight alliance club will answer.
Special treatment for special needs. Special laws for "special people".

And isn't it quite obvious as to where the Roman Empire went? I don't see them around today.

jviers77: I am not trying to discredit anyone. If you want to chat about dicredit let's look at the line which justsaynotomath directed to me. "so what is your point other then being afraid of gays?" This is discrediting! I hear all the time that there is "Overwhelming Evidence". A lot of books. Hmmm, can you name one piece of evidence or one book which is non-biasedly written?
And to answer your question: No I wouldn't choose to live a homosexual lifestyle. And I do not know how anyone could choose such a lifestyle.
My stance is simple. There is always a choice. Whether it be a choice of living an unmorale lifestyle or choosing to murder someone or choosing to have an abortion. Everyone has choices.
You will not change my stance on this and it is obvious that I won't change anyone else's stance on this. Because I have this stance doesn't mean I am afraid or a hater. It merely means that I do not approve of the lifestyle and do not approve of this H.S. club.
I will say this one more time:
Why not a club advocating non-violence to ALL persons, not based on their sexual "preference" but because of their right to lead happy long lives? Any group who believe they are above anyone else because of their skin color, race, religion and or "sexual preference" and need special treatment are the ones who are the biggots!
Why does the gay-community have to shove their ideals down my throat and my children's throats? Why do they deserve "special clubs" and special treatment? Why do they think they deserve more rights than I have?
I am against all who believe that special laws must be made because they are "different".
Giving special treatment tells me that people have special needs.

justsaynotomath: "i would say "no guns at school" but if you just want to talk about guns be my guest."
Well, thank you for allowing me my right to free speech!
"so what is your point other then being afraid of gays ?"
Who said I am afraid of gays? I am not afraid of ANY man or woman! Typical response from a liberal who can't think of anything else to say." Not condoning a lifestyle doesn't make me afraid! It makes me an American with the RIGHT to not condone!
"kids don't become gay, they are born gay. it's NOT a choice that anyone makes. that's like saying you choose to be tall. you could choose to tell your children they are great no matter what they are. instead of filling their heads with YOUR hate NOT theirs. "
And where is your proof on this? Is it something you heard? And you will tell me that a percentage of ALL animals are born gay right? Give me the proof of your statements.
"most parents that are control freaks rarely see their kids after 18."
This is an educated statement here oh boy. Most parents are control freaks? Where is your proof on this statement? They rarely see their kids after they turn 18? WOW, a nobel prize should be awarded to you!
Talk to me with an educated purpose.

Why must people who are less likely to be of the conservative nature lower themselves with name calling? "especially you rt wing whackos among us" Come on now sir, can't you be a little more creative than to stoop to negative adjectives?
Why would "rt wing whackos" watch a "lt wing whacko" like Michael Moore anyway?
"Give-aways to the rich and powerful are always where the Republicans begin..." Always? Such as never once did they do anything but give away to the Rich and Powerful? One could say that "Give-aways to the ones who are poor and are not willing to help themselves are always where the Democrats begin..." kind of rediculous isn't it?
I despise those who call names! Real Tough Guy huh?!?
