If the DA could get a guilty plea, he would try. All they care about are convictions. The charges are ridiculous and Halbach should fight the whole thing. Don't take a plea bargain.
I'm sot sticking up for the guy. But what's gonna happen when the city doesn't like you, so they do to you, what they have done to him?
I could care less if there is a club there or not. Do you think he would allow prostitution to go on in his club? Knowing it would make him lose all kinds of money, his Entertainment License, and building?

GUYONTHECOUCH,
"Initially, Obama claimed it would be inappropriate because he was in Germany on a political trip.
After reporters noted that Obama began his speech in Berlin by saying he was not speaking as someone campaigning for office and also met, in his capacity as a United States Senator, with German Chancellor Merkel, Obama changed his story. The story morphed to blame the military with the campaign telling reporters the military thought the trip was inappropriate."
"The story then morphed again. Obama strategist David Axelrod told reporters the Pentagon said Obama should not go to Landstuhl.
Inconveniently, the Pentagon told NBC no one there knows why Obama cancelled his trip. In fact, a military spokeswoman announced Obama would be visiting only to then announce he would not for reasons unknown to the military.
The only thing we know from Obama himself is what Jake Tapper reported at ABC. “Obama noted that in a break from his whirlwind schedule, ‘we've got some down time tonight. What are you guys gonna do in Berlin? Huh? Huh? You guys got any big plans? ...I've never been to Berlin, so...I would love to tour around a little bit.’”"

The Tyndall Report, a news coverage monitoring service that has the broadcast networks as clients, reports that three newscasts by the traditional networks — which have a combined audience of more than 20 million people — spent 114 minutes covering Obama since June; they spent 48 minutes covering McCain.
I could care less why the big hitters from all the liberal networks follow him around. Maybe because it's his FIRST trip to the war zone.

Guyonthecouch, He skipped seeing the troops in Germany, not for campaigning, as he claimed, but for sight seeing.
So nice of him to go to Iraq. Now that the Surge, that he voted against, has worked, and Iraq is more peaceful.
If we had went with Obama's plan for Iraq, we a would now be seeing the Iraqi army collapsing, civilian casualties increasing dramatically, al-Qaida killing cooperative Sunni sheiks and finding safe havens to train fighters and launch attacks on Americans, and civil war, genocide and a wider conflict.
Above all, America would have been humiliated and weakened. Terrorists would have seen our defeat as evidence America lacked the resolve to defeat them. As Iraq descended into chaos, other countries in the Middle East would have come to the aid of their favored factions, and the entire region might have erupted in war.
Tell me I'm that far off.
McCain would rather lose a campaign than lose a war, Obama would rather win a campaign than win a war.

Why would you vote for a party who, controlling Congress, absolutely refuses even a vote on more drilling on our home soil? It might pollute the environment...Like the environment we saved by refusing to drill off shore around Cuba? Now China is drilling there. I'm sure they are as concerned about the environment, halfway across the world from them, as we are...
Now can anyone tell me, about Obama: Who supported him? Who financed him? Who promoted him? Who covered for him? Who answered for him? Who sent him?
