On How long can humane society provide stray animal control services?

"Animal control keeps getting mixed up with our mission."
Check out RCHS web site. At the top of the page it states A Safe And Loving Home For Every Adoptable Amimal And Humane Treatment For All.
Under the mission statement the #1 is Provide shelter and care for homeless animals.#4 is lower the number of unwanted animals in the community.
They also tell you on the web site if you have questions about stray animals running at large, contact your local police.
If RCHS goes and picks up an animal or the police bring an animal in doesn't that mean it's homeless until the owners can be found or it can be adopted?

OkieFed - I hope you don't onwn an animal. Do you think animals are that disposable? What If this was your child that this happened to. Would you just go out and get another one???
My animals are like my kids, and no they can't be replaced at a snap for the fingers.

Used Liberty Tax once,was charged $250 and this was for regular taxes. Needless to say will never use them again.

I think the police should watch themselves. I have seen many times the officers change lanes without signaling, go faster than the posted speed, and following to close. Any officers out there want to tell me why they can do this and I can't???

Sure pioneers didn't have power but they also didn't have indoor plumbing. What are the people to do when their pipes freeze, and they don't have the money to call an plumber???
