What everybody fails to realize, yes you are taxed for public service. Being charged for the ambulance allows for that tax to be smaller than it could be. Charging for ambulance transports is not a new thing. The reason the ambulance charges is to offset the costs of the taxes that people are being charged. So be happy they charge for the ambulance for the taxes could be MUCH worse than they are.

Actually, I have no stake in this election what so ever. I do not work for, nor am I related to Mrs Keach. Also, I am not looking to be hired by Keach. I just know her and work with her in my professional career on a pretty regular basis and I know for a fact that she's EXTREMELY professional, no matter what some pathologist may seem to think about her. He's CONTRACTED my the county to do autopsies, and it is HIS requirement to do things as required int he CONTRACT, therefore he's at the mercy of the Rock County Coroner's office, not the other way around.

If you think that Keach is unprofessional, OBVIOUSLY you've never worked with her in a PROFESSIONAL manner. In my career I've dealt with her on numerous occasions and I've NEVER seen anything but professional behavior! There is no doubt in my mind that she's the most QUALIFIED person to be coroner. When you're an autopsy ASSISTANT, you don't really do very much, other than hand the pathologist the scalpel when they ask for it!
Ms. Holder is not QUALIFIED to be the coroner. Mrs. Keach is VERY QUALIFIED to be the coroner. Hell, she'd even be qualified to be the ME, which Ms. Holder would not! Having a background and degrees in the fields of forensics definitely QUALIFY Mrs. Keach for this job and she DESERVES to hold that office because she is the most QUALIFIED for the job!!!!!

Thank you 916WI, you are correct. Just because they are Republican does not mean that they all agreed with Bush's policies. I will attest, I did not agree with what Bush was doing with our money. Now let's hope the GOP learns from this and doesn't do something to screw this opportunity up. Save jobs, bring back more jobs!

I wonder how much of a waste of money the rail is going to be. I don't know about you, but I don't see a need to spend a lot of tax money for upkeep on rail that will not make up in ridership. We DON'T need rail. IF anything, widen the highway between Madison and Milwaukee to 3 lanes each way. It will cost a heck of a lot cheaper to drive to Milwaukee than it will to take the stupid "high speed rail" that will be anything but with as many as 7-8 stops on the way. Kiss the "high speed" portion of that goodbye.

Working at a professional level with Jennifer Keach, she has my vote. She's courtious, hard working, and VERY VERY respectful of the families that she works with. In addition, if other coroners and Medical Examiners in this state can elect her as the President of the Wisconsin State Coroners and Medical Examiners Conference. She's great at what she does and she deserves the job! I know for a fact she's got my vote. Even though she's not of the same political affiliation as I am. This is not a political office, it's an office dedicated to the people and families of this county, and Jennifer represents us all very very well!

Paul Ryan's comment was meant to be funny. He obviously knows that they swtich the order around every year. People just don't under stand sarcastic humor. Give it a rest people. He made the comment because typically the Unions are Pro-Democratic groups. He was trying to be funny. Give it a rest. He's obviously doing somethign right in Washington when every news source, from CNN to MSNBC to FoxNews are talking about his policies. Yeah, MSNBC doesn't like his policies, but since when have they ever liked anybody that was conservative, the allow a Keith Olberman (the most annoying person in the world, and I was saying that while he was on ESPN SportsCenter).

I will admit, I voted conservative/republican in this last election, dumb move on my part and I regret it completly, somebody tell me where I can get my vote back from??
The majority has NOT spoken. Had the republicans made any mention of this mess during the election they would NOT HAVE WON! This is not government, where one side has to bend over the barrel while the other side prevails and gets EVERYTHING they want. Governement is about compromise, Government is about working TOGETHER! Government is about BOTH sides making concessions for the good of the area that they govern. Both sides should be bent over the barrel, one side is getting screwed while they other side is laughing ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK!!! Yes, I said bank, proof of that is the taped conversation Mr. Walker had with Mr. Koch. Get off the KOCH(COKE) Scott and actually GOVERN, don't be a damn tyrany/DICTATOR, you were not elected to DICTATE!
