There seems to be enuf out there to prevent the baby cop from being elected chief.
He's arrogant and talks 'down' to his officers (who I have heard are quitting right and left. Talk about NO confidence!)
He and the Village Administrator are what we called in Chicago 'partners in crime'. They are protected by the crooked politics.
If the board votes for Maltese as chief I would unelect the stupid ones who voted for him ASAP. If they ONLY had a brain..... one WHOLE one, between them, that said you represent WE, the PEOPLE!

Its time things change and the board listens to the people who voted for them. Nobody wanted the ex$pen$e of the hearing. And WHAT new 'park signs'? What are those for anyway - all the tourists who can't find their way to our parks? What a waste of money.
STOP SPENDING OUR MONEY FOOLISHLY.
I say when the chief is reinstated those 4 board members should foot the bill for the hearing or resign. Its their vendetta, let them eat the cost for putting us thru this.

I agree with you badgerboy. An agreement like that is crazy. He's been railroaded all along by a bunch of bullies. I don't get the whole vendetta side of the story, but its obvious more must have been going on here since the begining.
Once his case is heard I wouldn't blame him for suiing till the cows come home.

Did you have some bad history with devoy? Why are you so on his case saying he never worked at patroling?
