On Wis. gov. extends credits for farm modernization

It's a tax CREDIT. It's providing a tax CREDIT when farmers spend their own money on improvements to their livestock facilities. It's not free money. It's an incentive to get farmers to spend their money to improve their facilities. This creates jobs and stimulates the economy in the process. Geez...some of you think there is a conspiracy behind every corner.

Elections are (always) sloppy, plain and simple.
On Survey shows food prices up 5 percent in 2011

Many experts say farmers and ethanol producers aren’t to blame for the higher cost of groceries. Instead a slew of other factors are sending prices up (low stocks, high demand from emerging economies like China, and freezing weather in usually warm food growing regions). Ethanol is an easy scapegoat, but there's a lot more to the story than ethanol's vocal critics would have us believe.

Actually...here's the letter from Walker:

The other letter was from Doyle's Dept. of Administration, which predicted that people will try to "pit" the two administrations against one another. Yeah, people like whoever wrote that headline with the word "demand" in it.

Whoa...slow down folks.
The actual letter (found at): http://www.thewheelerreport.com/releases...
says he respectfully asks that Doyle consider his requests... No place does he "demand" anything.
Poor headline.

If some of these claims are true, it still wouldn't be the first time an iffy recount determined an Assembly race in Walworth County.
On Wis. hoping to get federal education grants

Obama-haters not accepting these funds? This has nothing to do with Obama or his haters. Instead, it has everything to do about Wisconsin Democrats who talk a good game about "saving education" when elections are drawing near, but then can't even enact enough "reform of the system" to qualify for a hand-out from a democratic presidential administration. THAT'S why this story is interesting. Seriously, who do legislators have to blame but themselves?
