On Winter brings beastly injuries

Posted on February 2 at 8:42 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

My dog blew out her ACL last year on Christmas Day. Dr. Kreier did the surgery on her and she is just fine. True to what they told us, she repeated with the other ACL and, once again, she was fixed up by Badger Vet. The care they gave Roxie and and our other 3 dogs cannot be matched anywhere.

On Lions make history with winless season

tjncj, there is a post about first year stats by shutupandfish. He compared the QB ratings and stats of both of them. To say that Rodgers future looks bright because his 1st year stats were better than Favre's, implying comparison to a lengendary career, is just stretching the bounds of common sense.

We all hope that Rodgers improves and matures, as he is in the position of leading the team.

Thompson and McCarthy have got to go-that's the bottom line. These 2 bozos have divided the fans, lied to everybody and left us with a mediocre team at best. I am tired of hearing the comparison between Favre and Rodgers. Who in their right mind would look at first year stats and say or imply that Rodgers is a better QB or will be better that Favre? If Rodgers is around in 8 years, I'd be surprised.

On Another late collapse; another Packer loss

I am just waiting for the explanation coming from "our" coach how that pick that Rodgers threw on the final drive wasn't his fault. Part of McCarthy's job was to heal the damage done by himself and Thompson (perhaps by finally admitting they lied on many occasions) and to get the team united and motivated. Of course, that's not possible anymore. It will takes years to "get the stink off" from them getting rid of Favre-or it could happen overnight for me if they were both fired. I admit that I was a huge fan my whole life. Now I can't even tell you who they play next week.

On Playoffs appear unlikely: Disheartened team out to regain winning feeling

If we don't get rid of Thompson and McCarthy, we will have more of the same next year. The lies that these men told are enough to have them fired, we don't need our losing record to be the sole reason to boot them to the curb. I agree with kiawamohican...Favre was a huge motivator. Rodgers is an infant in this arena, no matter how well he can throw the ball. In hindsight, can anyone say that knowing what the 3 stooges know now, would they do the same thing all over again? NO, Favre would be back where he belongs, even if his last season AGAIN, and the division among the fans would be gone.

On Late comeback eludes Rodgers: Final drive frustrates quarterback

I am tired of hearing all the accolades and excuses for Rodgers. If Favre were throwing the ball, we would have a winning record right now. We owe Detroit a debt of gratitude, for without them, we would be holding down last place. Thompson and McCarthy have got to go!!!

I am out West on vacation and just read the news of John's death. I was privileged to hire him and his dad for a video project and found working with him to be wonderful. My heart goes out to his family and friends who must be feeling a tremendous loss. I will miss him and his gifts.

I met Linda while working for her husband, Rich, and she made an impression on me at a very young age. It doesn't surprise me that her life took her down the counseling path. I am still inspired by her and am moved beyond words by her story. What a remarkable woman!

jcm, I understand fully how exasperated you must have felt when they didn't show up to fix their mess! It does not surprise me that whatever settlement was reached, that they didn't admit to any wrongdoing. It baffles me that some people can read this as "misinformation" or untruths. Are we ALL wrong and liars? We have no reason to lie about what happened. We just want to warn the public that Govert is not worthy of their business.
