Under the last political party.. you had a choice???
Really what choices were those? Doyle vetoed everything that the democrats objected to. And what choice did you have when they raised "fees" every year? What choice did you have when they raided the transportation fund to pay for the pet projects of Jimmy and the free spenders. I am very interested in how they are going to get rid of 3 billion in debt without raising any taxes. I mean really you can only cut so deep. We could try only plowing snow every third snow that would save a few bucks. We could not build more million dollar outhouses on the interstate.

On Brothers day-long ordeal to get deer out of woods

Posted on November 28 at 3:13 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

Great story you see a few of these a year where bucks get caught together. Most of the time all people find is the heads with racks locked. The other deer would have died of starvation since those racks are wedged together pretty tight. Full body mount of both animals would cost a fortune. I have seen some mounts like this they are front shoulder or front leg mounts that look pretty nice. Anyways a great story for these boys to tell for years.

On Critics say Obama lagging on endangered species

The frog has been a candidate for the endangered species list since 1991, the snake since 1982.And yet they are still with us without being on the list. Looks like if I am going to enjoy anymore of those frog legs I better get moving.

You don't need a 300 mag to kill a whitetail. Maybe he thought he was hunting buffalo in Africa for that he could use the 300 mag.

On Smoking-ban complaints decline

janesvillean Yes I am the one who chooses to smoke. I have no problem going out to eat and not smoking. But again it should be a choice of the owner of that establishment. Liberals are all for choice when it comes to killing babies. But here they are imposing their will on others. Everyone bitches about loosing freedoms yet don't have a problem taking away other peoples freedoms. Its my right to smoke I know the dangers. But yet people feel it is there right to take away mine and thats what upsets me. I will not go out of my way to impact your life just leave me alone. As I said I don't have a problem with not being able to smoke when I go out to eat. The problem I have is government dictating to a business owner what he can do with his business. I said it before the brownshirts are coming along with the whining minions. Taking away personnel freedoms one step at a time.

Oh hang on guys its going to get better than this. A recent article in TIME stated that they are now worried about "third" hand smoke. Third hand smoke is the residue that collects on the clothes and surroundings of people who smoke. So even if you smoke outside and then come back in your bringing in third hand smoke. Which according to the article contains all the bad chemicals that are in second hand smoke. You all see where this is leading? Puff while you can folks the smoke free brownshirts are coming. And yes I am a smoker and I despise people telling what I can and cannot do. And I see them telling me soon that I cannot even smoke in my own home or my car.

On Offering sobering steps toward fiscal sanity

First you do not raise taxes in a recession unless you want to see a repeat. And I think someone already said it but I will repeat. You don't send more money to Washington than you have to. You force them to live within their means like every American has to do. The more money you send them the more ways they will find to piss it away. Bush did leave us with a huge deficit but Obama has taken it to new levels. Let me quote a bumper sticker I saw the other day. "Please don't tell Obama what comes after a trillion"
