If this were my child, he would be paying for it. He would be shoveling sidewalks, mowing lawns, anything he could for money. And he would have a job at 15 and all of his earned money would go until this is paid back.
And frankly, I think we need to hold these children's parents accountable and make them pay. The citizens should not have to cover the cost. These kid's parents should.

Also, if you go to theknot.com and go to their "community" pages, there is a "trash to treasure" board. People post used/new items they are looking to sell, and since it's the knot, it's all wedding related. Even dresses.

Don't have a big cake. I'm having Craig's cakes in Madison do quite a few smaller cakes. They're decorated with White Chocolate Shavings, so they look nice, and a 12 inch cake serves 35 people and is only $40. That's WAY cheaper than any wedding cake.

Scooter how exactly did they leave anything to the taxpayers? They are still paying taxes on that place since they own it. Just because it isn't in use doesn't mean anything as far as property tax.
