On Do roadside memorials go too far?

i think the memorial should go , it might not distract the drivers that drive that road on a regular basis. but someone new seeing it the first time im sure its a distraction. i guess to answer this question the city would have to consider this would they allow a business to place a sign in that exact location , or is that area to dangerous to have a driver s attention drawn to a sign if the answer is no they would not then the memorial shouldnt be there either . if what the family is saying is they want to go where he last was , they could still go there that s not going to change. but i wonder if they thought of the fact he wanted to be cremated some people choose this because they dont want people sitting around a grave . they want to be remembered for how they lived .

On Wis. police pick pension or insurance

i suggest you all look up what a police officer actually makes , it s not that great of pay for all the risks involved. and the holidays they work , in all kinds of weather . i would much rather see a police officer or a firefighter make more money , then a politician at least they will risk their live s for you . funny how they pass a health care bill you have to have health insurance then everyone wants to raise the premiums .

ah riverat see here s where part of the problem lies in those covenants , we ve owned other property that had association , rule s or were governed by someone , but it was listed in the deed to the property . so before you could even purchase it and get the deed you were required to sign the associations rules. here you have you buy and then please come to the office and sign these papers , so whos to say these property owners even saw the convenants before they purchased.
On Is movement to recall Walker right or wrong?
Posted on December 8 at 9:11 p.m. ( Suggest removal )
i dont understand what all the arguing is about , let them get the signatures and have the recall , if walker gets voted back in then you can say that is what wisconsin truly wanted , if he gets voted out then we will know its not what wisconsin wanted i for one , dont believe anytime while he was running did he state he wanted to eliminate collective bargaining .now that everyone know s what he want s let them vote on it . if we had law s like ohio we wouldnt have to have a recall , we could just vote on what they were changing . i for one will never vote republican again . i have never been for one party or the other always voted for what i thought was the best option. same with most of my family , but what he has done has now changed our minds and everyone of us signed the recall papers and collected signatures. not because someone told us to , or because of our jobs not one of us is a state employee or a teacher. but our parents and grandparents didnt fight for our rights , for us to just throw it all away .
