On Voters file challenge to Wis. photo ID law

Sigam40, how in the world could you vote online and make photo ID's mandatory for voting. You people make no sense whatsoever.
Voter fraud? Spend some time researching voting machines and software and you'll find where the "voter fraud" is, not with voters.

Forgive the typos below btw,

Yes, things are just so wonderful that Walmart, the land of a zillion low paying jobs to support America's lust for junk is cutting their crummy insurance options, never mind that their standard low pay pretty much assures that employees who are part time (which are most) would only be able to get health coverage through public assistance. Yes, let private industry take care of you, or in other words, let private industry make sure you have no other options but the one they give you. We lose either way, but lose bigger when core services are privatized.

I knew there was a reason I didn't open the gazette comment section anymore, and thank you for reminding me that ignorance is still king around here.

I like how all you people know exactly what is or isn't going to happen as a result of healthcare overhaul. Funny.

the only way you lower health insurance cost IS to mandate everyone have coverage. I'm not that fond of the idea, but if there is some better plans, why haven't we done it by now? $$$$.

Might want to check your facts folks. A good portion of the stimulus has not been spent yet and is just now in the pipeline for projects. The Repubs want private business to save us, so why aren't they hiring?

It always galls me when a story is put up about someone dying, for whatever reason, and somebody comes around with some smart-alek remarks. Nice.
On Trade magazine: Harley turned down chance to save Buell

Ah yes, yet another reason not buy a Harley, as if I need another. For real? They turned down Bombardiers offer, why? So it was better to end Buell all together than to let it grow under the leadership of a new company, saving much needed American jobs? Should I ask another question?
Absurd.
On Monterey tabbed as possible location for Janesville skatepark

I think Monterey is a great idea. That area of Janesville could certainly use some positive aspects. The "4th Ward" has always gotten a bad rap, and it's not that big of a deal. Janesville is one of the only towns in the entire area that does not have a skate park of some kind. I would like to see it designed for bikes as well though.

On Little change in state unemployment

Yes, wislady, and do you know why?? Did you read the article or watch the story? There is not one major industry that has been successful without government assistance, whether in the form of tax "credits", loans or subsidies. Why, the very successful oil and gas industries receive and have received for decades upon decades, your tax money. That's ok with you?
Fiskar made a business decision to produce it's initial vehicles in Finland, and country with very high wages, socialized health care, high standards of living for all of it's residents, and strict environmental regulations, instead of here. Why is that? It's because, America, as a whole, has slid down the bank of mediocrity by letting regressive conservatives and religious bedroom peekers into positions of authority and political clout, thereby ensuring the rest of the world laughs a big belly laugh when they see our unemployment lines.
