On Man found guilty of child porn possession

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Huber is only an option if you have a job? This guy testified that he is retired, and too old to do anything but drive, and well, I think the rules said keep it clean so I'll just stop there.
It seems the plan is still to just keep delaying until he dies of old age. Hence the defense lawyer who conveniently forgets to bring his date-book to court with him (among many other obvious and annoying delay tactics).
For now this guy is still free to roam our neighborhoods at least until sentencing just before June. I don't think he even has to register as a sex offender during that time, does he??? Anyone know?
