On Sidewalks? Here we go again

Janesville is the city of parks right? I live 1 block away from a park in Janesville and my children and I cannot walk to the park without walking into the street navigating parked cars etc. Take a drive around town and tell me how many parks you can actually get to on the sidewalks! I had to replace my sidewalks and did not hesitate to do so. Part of homeownership in Janesville. The council brought this upon themselves. If you make someone put in sidewalks then everyone should have to, case closed. Just remember to watch those contractors! They had to repour ours because they did such a crappy job (city contractor)...don't pay until they do it right.

cryoseism seems to fit the bill. Do a google search on Waupaca soil survey. The survey I found stated that the water table for most of Waupaca County is right around 50ft...

Oh Greg.. I am not ripping on you I just don't understand why people wear earmuffs....do you not want to cover your head? Don't want to mess up the do? Just wear a hat that covers your ears, I thought ear muffs were invented for women who didn't want to mess up their hair? I just wear a regular hat or a backlava. And yes I am out at 6:30 in the morning, actually earlier. I guess the princess Leah look is coming back for men:)

Is that the same Severson who was on the school board? The one who works for Mercy? If so, that is not good for the residents of Janesville. Was glad to hear he wasn't doing the school board thing anymore so now he moves into city government? Is Sodemann coming next? Watch out people....make sure you educate yourself before voting!

Asked my son the other day what he did in school and he said they made a calcano, my wife and I looked at him and said "what?" he said back "a calcano." The two older ladies at the restaurant heard our conversation and they started smiling. I said back to him, tell me one more time what you made. He said "a calcano, you know the mountain that spits out lava!" My wife and I and the older ladies began to laugh out loud. I said, "you mean a volcano?" And he replied, "dude, i told you a calcano, and you are supposed to be smart!" One of those humbling moments being a father.
