On Wis. officials help residents find sex offenders

Mass Hysteria is correct. Lean and Walk are intelligent. The gazette is wrong. Only sex offenders on probation are restricted. Remember that every sex offender has a family and most live with their families. The families can participate in this holiday. They can answer the door, they can trick or trick. The offenders have spouses, kids, grandmothers, sisters and brothers. Do not create hysteria and hurt families that have already been hurt by crime. Most of them will take a lifetime to recover. Most of the victims are within the family. Protecting all children and families should be the job of the Gazette. Do not create hysteria. Be smart, be safe. Again, listen to Walk and Lean - these are smart people.

Does this little machine "log you out" when you leave? Or are you assumed to be there the whole evening? In other words, if there are problems after you leave, will you be contacted by police to see if you have witnessed anything? Or participated in an event?

I love the idea that the bar is doing something to keep problems away. However; I'm not going there; I don't want to be part of a hard drive somewhere. I don't want my shopping habits watched either. And no, I don't have a record at all. I'm old fashioned, clip coupons, drink at home, dance at weddings. I an not de-sensitized yet.

Albogurl, your comments were moving. Shukrije's spinach pies were delicious. We would buy them from the family at Whitewater.
Remember the family with good memories and let's all take care of the children.

A person truly intent on taking his or her own life will do so. They can and will fool the best psychiatrists or crisis staff. No one is to blame. Leave the families alone.

On Plastic bag ban for Janesville?
Posted on November 6 at 9:50 a.m. ( Suggest removal )
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18538484/
To make all the bags we use each year, it takes 14 million trees for paper and 12 million barrels of oil for plastic. The production of paper bags creates 70 percent more air pollution than plastic, but plastic bags create four times the solid waste — enough to fill the Empire State Building two and a half times. And they can last up to a thousand years.
Plastic, because it's cheaper to produce, is the overwhelming choice of grocery stores across the nation — the average family of four uses almost 1,500 of these a year. San Francisco is limiting consumers' freedom of choice, allowing only biodegradable plastic bags, which break down over months rather than hundreds of years.
