I had a meeting with assistant DA Kate Bucker yesterday who said that a sex offender was no longer a threat because of a head injury. Is this the cure for sickos that we've been waiting for? I have a hammer....

Bill Fisher is dedicated to soccer and children. He gives more time and money to this sport then anyone I know. Janesville is lucky to have him for a volunteer.

Last yeat the Tuesday Morning Optimists got a list from Janesville teachers for homeless students without boots and snow pants. Ann Forbeck is a social worker in the elementary schools and she helped us go from store to store trying to fill the list. It was sad that there are so many homeless students in Janesville and it keeps getting worse.

I feel that this program should have only applied to vehicles made in the USA. The stimulus money was not intended to help the foreign car manufacturers profit. It was to help US citizens work.

I hope everyone get a chance to stop at the Optimist cheese curds and chicken nugget stand. This wonderful group work very hard to earn money they can use to support the youth in our area. This is their biggest fund raiser and all money earned goes to support kids.
