Judge Welker does not deserve any extra "kudos" just because he came to this decision. It's called common sense.

Alexander Munro was my brother's best friend. He had just left my brother's house when he was killed.
I have often wondered what happened to his killer. I don't think I'll let my brother know that I've stumbled across this article because the pain would be too much for him to endure knowing that he has not changed.
What a shame.
