The Bluebirds going to state is so AWESOME in itself, but it's even more delightful because of all the crap that 1 disgruntled parent tried to cause for Coach Mauermann earlier this year. These kids are an amazing group of kids, and it's great to see them do so well. In your face, disgruntled parent!!! GO BLUEBIRDS!!!

My Craig junior has a job and ONLY works on Saturdays so as not to interfere with school and studying. She will not be in attendance if these days are made up on Saturdays. She has taken great pride in having perfect attendance throughout high school and now this will be ruined. I strongly urge that Saturday make up days NOT be an option! Furthermore, during conferences just last week I was told by several Craig teachers that these days would just be "movies or something" and that they will not be held accountable for teaching these kids anything on those days, anyway. Given the current contract issues, I found that very believable.

As the parent of a 16-year-old with a new driver's license who thinks she is invincible, I applaud the Janesville School District for keeping her off the streets one more day while the city works at cleaning up the roads. Thank you!!!

How about we spend our tax dollars on maintaining the facilities we have (like the ice arena and parks) instead of building more stuff we won't maintain. Or...we could clean house at Leisure Services and have planty of extra cash.

Anyone who has ever worked for Bonnie Davis in any capacity will tell you that she is anything BUT an "honest,caring,hard working woman!!" Good grief!! I almost lost my dinner when I read that!! The city council should clean house at Leisure Services and START with Bonnie Davis!
