On Darien board to meet Dennison

I was shocked and sad to hear what happened to Mr. McCue. His dedication to the village is well known and he is a good-hearted church going man who is loved by many. Prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery from my family to his.
Copperguy I don't get to many board meetings but I have been to a couple. I too have seen Abbott being a voice of reason when their conflicts seemed unsolvable and sure enough, then they'd get a unanymous vote.
I never really paid attention to Wenzel, there's been so much talk on these blogs about good old boys, so I just assumed he was one of those standing in the way of progress. I realize that wasn't very fair or christian of me and I will attend a meeting in the near future with an open mind regarding to him.
Thanks for opening my mind up.
I hope the cheif issue is resolved soon and all can work together to make this a better place to raise our families.

Helen is a crusader for GOOD in this village. She is fearless and fierce. Thank you Helen.
Outsider, will Danz sue to recover the expenses he inflated and illegally charged the village for? Don't think he will. Or else he wouldn't have resigned. Maybe he owes US money.
Copperguy you are right on as usual.
(I am not stupid enough to think you are Devoy)

Wow.
I see it slamdunk. Wonder who that is. Somebody not for the best interest of Darien people.

2-level READ the article above. The VA contacted ONLY 4 board members regarding serious negotiations about a HUGE financial matter that affects ALL citizens. - TRUE!
Get your head out of the sand. The ones who truly seem to represent the good of the villagers were the ones LEFT OUT of the loop. Defend THAT!
Your irresponsible rantings are getting old.

outsider if negotiations went on, DeVoy's lawyer presumed that Stanley was truthful when he said he was acting with the support of the board. And Stanley presumed Dennison was truthful when he told Stanley he had contacted the board. Neither was the case.
In fact the only members of the board who were contacted were the ones who helped start the whole witch-hunt. How could any of those negotiations have been conducted in good faith?

If there were under the table negotiations going on that could have resolved the case without a hearing, wasn't Chief DeVoy's rights violated?
Seems like these old board members have been out to get him for a very long time. And they are the ones who hired Dennison.

So it seems Kaufenbergs rant on McCue is unfounded. And the audience member at the meeting said McCue speaking with Konopski at a gas station was somehow illegal too. NOT.
What's up with these old farts trying to make their own rules? There are laws to obey!
