ever notice how no one tells a farmer how to grow crops, a lawyer how to practice law, a doctor how to practice medicine, a firefighter how to fight fires....but EVERYONE is an expert when it comes to telling the police how to do their jobs.
On Walworth County Sheriff’s office to patrol Whitewater Lake

Birggirl have you ever boated?? A waste of money, you are very wrong. Every lake I have boated on needs a water patrol because of the lack of knowledge of boaters. People get on the lake, get excited and leave their common sense on land. There are laws that need to be enforced and having a water patrol is the only way to do so and to keep the public safe.

metfrk81....catdog spews this idiotic nonsense all the time. He's big into conspiracy theories. He has it in for law enforcement and Walworth County government in general. He's mentioned a few times on the blogs that it's time to move...I think it's time he does if he's that unhappy here.

truth1...from what I heard when I listened to the televised report...not the Gazette...the guy was warned more than once dating back into last year. As for the barking dogs....I agree. They should get tickets. But are you going to support the cops that are going around writing these people tickets or are you going to protest it as unfair when the do? I don't know if you have a dog or not, but if so, are you going to be upset if you get a tcket because your dog happened to bark when the cops were in the neighborhood? It's kind of like the folks that complain about cars speeding by their houses and ask for a little extra patrol...then all of a sudden the person that called happened to be speeding that day and gets a ticket. Are you upset because you got the ticket or because you invited the cops into the area? Unfortunately, the cops can't win. They leave this guy alone and let him violate the ordinances and neighbors complain. They finally call him on it and give him a ticket and people complain. You can't have it both ways.

catdog...maybe it's time for you to move out of Walworth County since all you do is b*tch about how bad things are here. As far as the sign being 3 blocks away, so what> Do you need to see a "no passing zone" sign to know that you can't pass where there's a double yellow? Just because there isn't a sign doesn't make it ok. Perhaps this guy should take a look at the Town ordinances and figure out what is and isn't ok to do. As far as the deputy being a bafoon...from what I've read you're the bafoon by the idiotic drivel you spew on these blogs.

catdog...I'm sure if he would have pointed his gun and shot it at the police then they would have shot him like they did in Walworth County. That's what happens.

and food for thought...the guy just shot himself two times in the torso. what makes anyone think that now shooting him in the leg is going to suddenly stop him??? Isn't the torso alot closer to vital organs than a leg??
