Yeah the Mayan thing is purely myth, and dictionary.com is wrong too! It was copy/paste directly from the link. If you didn't notice the definition, it was about halfway down the page. Like most Lemmings, you go directly for the first available information, and then accept it as word one. If you were to dig a little deeper, things aren't always as they first appear. I guess that is the Lemming/programmed/brainwashed modus operandi you live by huh? I bet you have way more experience with using Marijuana than most people here. My opinions aren't valid, but yours are. Thanks for the input, by your inference I will stop posting, most like you are WAY too smart for me anyway! I guess I will keep to running my business and stay off this blog. I was just bored this weekend because of the weather. NEVER ARGUE WITH A FOOL, LISTENERS CAN’T TELL WHICH IS WHICH. Very typical of the "more fortunate" taking from the "less fortunate" so the "more fortunate" can be even "MORE fortunate"! I'm surprised anyone pays attention anymore. I know these are VERY trying times, but let’s face facts; I-You-Woodman Employee's-Phil Woodman won't be the final judge on what is fair and equitable. After all the assessments are made and all tallies are counted, we will all see who the TRUE JUDGE will rule for. In the meantime, a good indicator to the Woodman family on whether it is right to reduce an employees wage so that the Woodman family can realize more "good fortune" is how the customer base responds. (I am of the opinion this is a ploy to increase Phil’s bank account at the expense of his employees-If I am wrong and wages go up, and entry level employees come in at the usual rate, I will buy time on Charter and apologize to Phil!!!!) I am really torn because many high school classmates of mine are employees of Woodman’s and have more than 25 years of service invested. For some it is the only job they ever had! I want to see them succeed and hopefully prosper; so I don't know if I want to stop shopping at Woodman’s. The little guy could get hurt in this situation. The other view is to shop elsewhere to show your dissatisfaction with Phil Woodman and his endeavor. For now I am going to do most of my shopping at Aldi (it's Wal-Mart in Western Europe) and get items that Aldi does not carry at Woodman’s. I never used to think about, or wanted to shop at Aldi even though I knew it was the most popular retailer in Europe. When I was forced to shop there because of similar circumstances that are happening at Woodman’s, I found their products to be SUPERIOR to anything available anywhere else. That includes name brand items (some of which are available) If you don't like what you purchased from Aldi, they will give you your money back X2!!!! The prices are the best in a hundred miles radius from Janesville, and in my opinion the quality is the best you can buy! Give Aldi a try for your major needs, and patronize Phil for what you can’t get elsewhere.

Have you ever seen how the Mayan peoples use Peyote (Mescaline) in a responsible way to see inside themselves and to view the world unclouded by outside influence? In a similar, yet less effective way, Marijuana lets the user see right through people and their true motives. Now we can't really allow people to be influenced by their own unmolested view of the world can we? Just think of the position that would place our government in. I think you can see the government’s motivation in not legalizing this substance. We can't have the country's population running around and thinking for themselves can we Lemming?

Way to go CRAFTY!

"”Government Agencies - Using unconstitutional civil forfeiture laws the government has been able to use the presence of Pot to steal billions of dollars of private property from the People. Drug laws have been an excuse to circumvent our constitutional right and justify wire tap laws, the erosion of protection from illegal searches, key recovery encryption, and domestic spying…………Way to go CRAFTY!

CRAFTY presents the true crux of this situation in an intelligent, logical form. Most people are LEMMINGS from a campaign that is almost 80 years old now. It is very fortunate that the Gazette provides a means for posters to contact other posters. I challenge ANYONE here to debate me in a public forum on this topic. You bring your views and facts, I will bring mine. I hope that CRAFTY would be my ally in such a debate. Lemmings invited to participate-of course.
Just take a look at spelling and grammar usage in the Lemming responses compared to CRAFTY! Clearly CRAFTY is the more informed and most likely intelligent one here. I don't want to hear about any aid CRAFTY may have used to check his work. The fact of the matter is that he is either very intelligent, or at least intelligent enough to recognize the spell check feature embedded into the Gazette site. We need to bring this topic and many more topics of concern out in the open and have reasonable debate to correct where our government is going wrong. After all…take a look at how many responses this story garnered. Then take a close look at the majority opinion. The result speaks for itself. I was taught that majority ruled in this country-clearly it DOES NOT!
So MANY Lemmings, woefully too few cliffs for them to run off!

Taxing cigarettes excessively is fundamentally wrong. Smoking is an addiction. Excess drinking is an addiction, taxing people for their addictions is wrong. Why don't we start increasing the taxes for those who seek treatment for all addictions. Lets increase the tax on coffee. How about a tax increase for magazines that depict sexual images if the person is a repeat buyer of these publications. As long as we are taxing addictions, I don't see any problem with taxing disabilities too. Lets increase the tax on insulin. How about a tax increase for those who have skin cancer from exposing themselves to the sun. I think we just need more of and a wider variety of tax increases. We need to fund all the special interest groups and earmarks our wonderful government representatives can imagine. The lottery has worked beautifully, you have realized a significant credit on your property taxes haven't you?

Lets all make sure we have smoke alarms installed and in working condition. Isn't it ironic that the smoke detectors were removed the prior week? Smoke detectors SAVE lives.

Here is a link to Wisconsin smoke detector guidelines that show proper installation and maintenance tips.
