On Beloit crafting casino agreement with Ho-Chunk

Gambling is a form of entertainment. Which is better: Going to a bar after work and dropping a $100 on drinks and smokes and then walking out to your car and driving home under the influence putting others in danger or dropping $100 at a casino and driving home sober after having fun anticipating winning the big one? I will take the casino bet anytime....

Always have to bring politics into a blog. Even Though he never played as a Milwaukee Brewer, he has been their announcer since 1978 and has been there longer than any player. He will always be "Mr. Baseball" and a Milwaukee Brewer. He was born in Milwaukee too. He also played for the Phillies and Cardinals before going back to the Braves after they had moved. It is for ONLY one day for heavens sake. The week after his birthday, we can name it after someone else.
On Do you support ban on all cellphone use while driving?

I am not sure where anyone feels that SO many people talk on their cell phones while driving. I run up Blackbridge Road and up Memorial from 51 several times a week. I run at all times and I pass the time by watching people drive by who are on cell phones. I have NEVER observed more than 16% of the people who talk while driving. More often than not, it is less than 10%. It seems this is over rated. I guess I have to turn off my radio and not talk to my passenger because it is distracting.

It's called the "silent majority". I don't have signs, but I certainly support it.

Just announced: Wisconsin led all states in number of jobs LOST last month. How is that Walker promise of 250,000 jobs working out for ya? And don't give me the crap about give him time. The same people who wanted to impeach President Obaman after 9 months.

Obama was in office only 9 months when the right was demanding immediate change. Yet comments were that Walker won't be able to make a change for three years. Why the difference for one party and not the other. This country and state is so split. No single party is perfect. That is my point. The statement of "Get Over It" goes both ways.

You are right Wislady. Actually it was 54% to 45%. I checked the news stations from the morning after the election. My point is still taken.

JV93. I have been reading the comments on here for quite some time and everyone on the Walker bandwagon has been telling all those on the left to get over it. Walker was elected and by 52% of the popular vote. Yet you on the right still have not gotten over Obama being elected by a whopping 56% to 43%. Get over it.......You only gave Obama 9 months to change things and reverse all the bad created before and yet you claim Walker needs three years. Ok for your party and not ours.

Even tho you may receive 10-15 non criticals, this is not enough to make you think you should not eat there. Non-criticals in my establishment was the faucet not running for 15 seconds after you push the handle down in the bathroom. Missing a handwashing sign is another one. Storing a sealed box of cofee under a ceiling that did not have a drop ceiling. Odd things like that, that don't really affect your health but could lead to poor practices by the restaurant if ignored. Critical would be food coolers at 50 degrees, etc. I like the fact that my restaurant is listed and any errors posted. I take pride in the fact that I score high over and over.
