On Edgerton volleyball has success without specializing

The article starts off saying that "If you want to .. play at the next level, club volleyball supposedly is the path to take." Have any of Edgerton's four seniors signed to play Division I (or even D-II), like their club counterparts?
Though I admire 3 sport athletes, I hardly believe that only 3 sport athletes should be allowed to play. Maybe there are as many anti-club snobs as there are club snobs. Most smart varsity coaches just pick the best players regardless of whether they play club or not.
Let's face it, for the WIAA teams that actually follow the rules, the teams are only together for 6 - 9 weeks (that is about 24 practices for the entire season). This is hardly enough time to adequately prep a player to be a college recruit.
