The family is very close friends of ours and they are devastated with losing their cats, but are very grateful he woke when he did and saved him and their son and dogs. They do need help as I saw a few people have asked. They need clothing for the whole family, cleaning supplies, trash bags, plastic bins and boxes. That is what they told me they need at the moment. They feel awkward asking for help, so I asked if I could for them. Anyone who has any of these things can please email me at jcschroeder2@charter.net and I can get you clothing sizes. I can pick up items, or they can be dropped off at my house. Thank you for any help you can give them.

According to the DOT website I-90/39 NB one lane from mile marker 175 (racine st) to Rock/Dane county line. Wasn't that hard for me to find wonder why the Gazette couldn't??

So the city say YE go ahead and open your bar. The a few people complain that a bar is going in there. Where were these people and their fears before the council approved the permit?? Whay after the fact are they acting. Bobbleheads has volleyball and they are in Janesville!!!!! Most of the bars in janesville are in residential neighboorhoods. Hmmm Wish-e-washy

Ok Yuri I read your memo and still wonder why we need this committee and who will head it and pay for the time etc. It sounds like the previous committee did not care to be involved in the ice rink and it was passed off to another person.

How about forming a committee on ways to attract more companies to come to Janesville. And maybe a committee to help displaced workers instead of worring about an ice rink that nobody seemed to care about in the past.

I think that would be a better proposal.
