On Red Cross initiatives affecting local chapter

Yada, that money was reserved for the families of 9/11. Red Cross has a long held commitment to honor donor intent, and will not transfer money from that account to a local chapter or any other use.
The local chapter director, along with the other staff are paid in-line with other local charities, of that I am sure.
Fund raising in the face of the economy here in Rock County can not be easy, and if we want to continue the local services we have come to expect, First Aid classes, blood drives and help to families after a fire or flood, we all have to pitch in.
