To the Gazette staff who deletes comments: You are as close to a Communist as possible. Nothing in my post was vulgar or obscene. It was just a question that was prompted by another posters accusations of vulgarity. I noticed you did not censor their post. Thanks for saving the world Comrade!

Oh, and Wislady, if you can't provide proof that unions were allowed to donate (when the bill that was passed read for ALL fundraising), then quit telling lies. Hard thing to do for a Republican, I know, but you can do it!

" Then, as often happens, people get greedy and forget what purpose they are supposed to serve." Oh.... Wislady.... I almost thought you were talking about the Republican politicians and the Big money cronies that bought them.If the glove fits though...
On Angela Rhodes out as humane society director

Saxcat70, again you are an uninformed poster. These shelters, including RCHS, run on donations given by people who want to see animals treated fairly and humane. Find them another home.Try to make sure animals get spayed so we DON"T have an unwanted population explosion, which would be bad for our communities. So wake up and smell the coffee, they DO NOT USE your taxpayer money. They provide a benefit to the community, more than what can be probably said about you. So you can crawl back in your bunker and wait for the day you can "put down" them Gov'ment traitors!

usr - That's what I have been saying too. This was no "surprise". If people understood the lies that have been told to garner sympathy by Rhodes, they would understand the big mess that RCHS is getting into.

Right non, Farmers_Daughter!
And BuckyFan08 - there are always multiple problems. Bad owners, not enough funds, etc. The responsibility to find good solutions to these problems start at the top... the director and the board. We, as a community, can help by being responsible pet owners. But if the director and board make it difficult for people to support them financially and through volunteering, you can't put the blame on the community. Learning how to fund raise, develop relations with contributors and businesses, and other things take a talent that may not be there right now. They probably do need a new building, and it may be tough to find someone who may donate property or money to build one. But that is what comes along with the job at a non-profit.

schoonyg - do you donate money to causes even if you believe that the charity is not being run correctly? While it definitely is a challenge for fundraising in this area, it is not impossible. And creating great relationships with donors and businesses is where you start. That apparently is happening at RCHS. So don't just blame the community for making a personal choice.

On Wis. drops to 44th in private-sector job creation
Posted on March 28 at 6:04 p.m. ( Suggest removal )
Hey Ronald, seems like other midwestern states have made progress. And according to Politifact:
In 2011, the number of private-sector jobs rose by about 1.83 million (if you count from the January amount to the December amount) or 1.92 million (if you count from December to December). Either way, the increase in 2011 represented the highest one-year total since 2005, when the number of private-sector jobs increased by either 2.22 million or 2.31 million, depending on the time period used.
I doubt your facts are real, probably heard that on Fox Snoozecast. Those idiots couldn't count to 10 either if the used both hands. Stick to burgers and fries.
