bigfish1: I believe I answered that question. The intentional taking of life is murder however you want to look at it. Will taking someone elses life make your loss any less heartbreaking, I believe their freedom should be taken from them but God is the only one who has the right to end a life.

Capital punishment is a barbaric practice and used for revenge, nothing more nothing less. I am not for anyone playing judge when it comes to life or death. All the death penalty does is turn our system into revenge killers.
Death Penalty = legalized murder
And who can be prosecuted when OUR system executes an innocent person? I'm not saying that Davis was innocent or guilty; but it has happened that innocents have been executed. What makes it right?

So, bigfish you are condoning murder..an eye for an eye?? because I believe ...no matter the circumstance; execution is LEGALIZED MURDER. I believe what the author is trying to get across; is the FACT that there have been too many INNOCENT persons..executed. What would you call the state for executing an innocent person??

truecitizen: you are living in a dream world. Obviously you have never had to defend yourself against false charges. The Innocence Project has brought about the release of almost 300 WRONGLY convicted (sorry don't recall the exact #). Some who were condemned to DIE. What is ONE life worth?? Even Police, Investigators, Judges and Juries are HUMAN and make mistakes... If it was your life or son or daughter..I believe you would be singing a different tune.

On Texting habit leaves me perplexed
Posted on December 8 at 8:09 a.m. ( Suggest removal )
I believe the issue is not that texting is a convenient form of communication for various reasons but TO SOME an addiction. When a teen is sending 100's of texts an hour, during every waking hour of their day....tell me ....When do they study, When do they do chores, When do they interact with the FAMILY unit??
If you ask me...THAT is when texting is a problem, no longer a convenience. It is affecting grades, responsibilities, and personal relationships.

Are we going to rule out well water next??
Get real...800 people sick since 1998 in the entire country of.. How many million? That is 66.6 people per year.....5.5 people per month across this country. More than that are injured or KILLED crossing the street.
Alot of us were raised on raw milk, it's natural, free of all the garbage that is put into our (pasteurized) milk and (processed) food.
We as Americans are being OVER REGULATED. Big Brother is going too far. These are choices we should be able to make for ourselves.
