this happened near my home. i saw the young man on the ground and i didnt think of who or what he was, i saw a person in need of help.so i went to try to help him. i didnt know or care if he was "a gang member". my thoughts are with his family who have to suffer with people's opinions of thier child. those who only worry about thier legal status aren't looking at the bigger picture. i suggest you take a step back and open your eyes to the tragedy of his family and maybe offer some kind of solution instead of being part of the problem.

On Darien employer encourages English education

my husband who is here as a permenant resident doesn't read or write the english language as well as he should. partly due to the fact that i, who is a native born citizen, do not speak to him in english but in his own language. You can be here legally and not speak read or write the english language. These classes and this company see the need to help those that need it to have good comunication with their workers. I respect them for caring about their employees. Way to go Bird's Eye Foods.
