On Janesville schools plan for possible school closure

Posted on November 23 at 9:11 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

realitybites- When (If you have any) your kids were in school I believe you would not feel this way IMO we needed more teachers and I as a tax payer dont have a problem with kids getting a better education as to smaller class sizes. And by the way my 4 kids are all grown and the education was well worth the taxes and still is For future kids.JMO

bobb i don't know where you think the teachers wage is outrageous With the way kids act and the large classrooms , they earn every dime. Now I suppose some will start bashing the school teachers like they did GM workers.JMO) I would not be a teacher as to the behavior of some of the students. If we as kids would have thought to do what kids do today in school OH MY GOODNESS I would still be standing up. Just my opinion

On Man wins appeal in gun case

The term domestic violence law is very broad also an argument with you child or spouse or any relative can get you a D.V. and that is wrong. Do not raise you voice in your own home as it may cost you. My son and i had a disagreement and no acts of violence nor threat, just a simple disagreement on our porch we were both sited for DV. So before you look at charge listen to the case before you judge someone and think it is more then it really is.

why dont all the ones who want to help, adopt a family or 2 and help them. Those who can afford to do something if only a little it all helps. As far as the past bashings and union haters let it go, some of them may feel the loss to themselves or loved ones that were once helped. God be with all the less fortunate and lets see how we can, as a community can help, I know alot of people are hurting as to economy but remember some have less then we do. You cant turn back time nor take back words that were said but you can do something now to help. one word can make a difference "ACTION"

On Drug sales bring prison—again

Also some former residents at RVCF said he was actually running it while locked up there. And this is could most likely be true. People have been known to continue their business while incarcerated. Just my input and opinion.

Imprisoning the guy is a waste of money. What the solution is, however, I have no idea. This is not a waste of money to put him back in prison. This will stop his business in our streets and keep the tax payers from having to pay for his customers in treatment, which would amount to much more of a cost then it would to lock him up. This loser got life the first time then gets it reduced, gets out and then gets less of a sentence when he repeats. He should have been given life without parole.......... Him and his brother charles have run this drug game at least 20 years in janesville and they are originally from beloit and have dealt in our streets for long enough. And I know first hand on this one as to a family member involved with them in 1990s.

was the other man charged with a hate crime ? To provoke a person to that point should bring charges and if he did splash urine on him that is a health risk as you do not know what he has. IMO If you spit or were to throw urine on a police officer you would be charged. Hats off for defending another race.JMO

On UAW/GM EAP holiday food drive won't happen

They fed over 350 families and also toy drive donations to echo, For all you who have bashed them for years will see the effect the whole community will feel without GMAD and all its hard workers and volunteers that helped this community for many many years. I hope there is a way to help the less fortunate ones this year there is still a month to try and do something. Is there any number we can call to help?
