If this SUV had been there before the snow.. Isn't there suppose to be an officer driving through the park every hour or two?

On Bailout: So much for that idea!

What I want to know is, why has not one bank Exec. been prosecuted? Tons of that money went into their pockets.

Funny haw the "Haves steal more, & get away with it."

gwendt "when i was in traffic school many years ago -the instructor said ,if everyone who broke a traffic law reported to the police station, it would create a line more than a mile long !! Chaos would be rampant!!
Even the Bible teaches forgiveness!!
But it seems like these self-righteous people would still throw stones."

You took the words right out of my brain. Man.. i can hardly wait to see what self-righteous looks like in another 10 years..

On Should the city of Janesville fine homeowners who have made improvements without needed building permits?

Posted on November 14 at 11:06 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

We need a Mayoral System, so when they start doing things like this, we can vote them out of office. How many of you have the kind of job security the Janesville City Manager has? Even the U.S. President can be impeached if he screws up to badly. City Managers care less about, "the good of the community".. their bottom line seems to be revenue.. how to generate it, & how to spend it as quickly & unwisely as possible.

On Sex offender released into Janesville neighborhood

Posted on November 14 at 10:52 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

Oh Good... Another pervert stuffed down in the 4th ward. Has anyone besides myself noticed the high percentage of sex offenders in Janesville, housed in the 4th ward? I get the general impression attitudes about that area have not changed, & there's no real plans to clean up the slum lords, gangs, or drugs. I recently got pulled over in the 4th ward for a headlight out, & noticed even the Janesville Police officers treat people there like they're felons.. just for being in the area. Now granted.. there are a lot of felons in the 4th, but standard policy should not dictate treating all people in certain area's of the city like criminals, just because they are there (unless they're criminals of course)

A little off topic.. but not far *grin*..

On Former fire chief denies theft charge stemming from misuse of town's credit card

Posted on November 6 at 2:32 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

Talk about over reaction! I myself.. on several occasions have taken the wrong credit card out of my wallet & used it. Why jump right to "Thief".. Does this guy have a criminal record? If not.. Why not confront him about the $80 gas purchase, & give him the opportunity to pay it back? Walworth county has a history of abusing their volunteer fire fighters & rescue members. I'm surprised anyone would want to volunteer for anything in that county. If they want to find real wrong doing, look a little higher up on the food change over there.. Leave the unpaid volunteers alone before you have no one to fight your fires.

On District network is still suffering

Posted on October 29 at 6:22 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

its amazing how many people are calling for heads in this situation! Probably the same people who voted over the last couple years (Twice) NOT to allot the school district monies needed to put air conditioners in all the schools, but your willing to spend the kind of money needed described pretty well by technoguy?! I'd bet the farm if it were to come up on a referendum you'd vote "No". As for Viruses.. there is no way a network such as the schools can be 100% protected, even if the virus software is working at peek efficiency. I've worked on many computers that were not on networks, have had virus software working, & they had viruses, spyware, malware, keyloggers, etc. That software dose not stop everything. Kids need to stop treating school computers like they're personal PC, & have some respect for something bought & paid for by someone else.. for the benefit of their future (I know.. not going to happen).

On Virus reinfects school district Web site

Pwrtrip:

You obviously have no idea what your talking about. If you knew anything about PC's, networking & viruses, you wouldn't have wasted my time with this ridicules statement. Educate yourself. Oh.. and please pay attention when reading. If your looking for someone to blame for the re-occurrence, you need to point the finger at the one who re-uploaded the template with the infection, months after Brandon & his staff eradicated the virus. Todays cyberspace virus is a nightmare for people who do what Brandon (& I occasionally)do.

You owe someone an apology!

On Police investigate political confrontation

These poll workers are actually asking "who we plan to vote for".. I told one that came to my door, "thats between God, Me, & the Ballot I fill out." I use to be a democrat, but anymore they seem to be out of touch with mainstream citizens.. & they're corrupt behavior has become the norm.. for me.. I can't stomach them anymore.
