On Cops check in: Evansville police make calls to elderly residents

Posted on November 16 at 3:44 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

I thought these kinds of Police Depts were extinct! WoW.. a Police dept that actually gives a d@mn about individuals in the Community, instead of treating individuals like felons. Which is exactly whats happening in our community. I use to actually enjoy talking to Police officers.. the older ones I still do. The younger ones have seem to have a blanket policy... treat everyone on minor traffic stops (mine was a headlight out) as if they're violent felons. If you try getting out of the car to see if its a short, they'll actually shoot you.. (Not kidding)..II think some recruits are over paranoid. And yes.. the officer had already checked my DL (Spotless record). I was not threatening in anyway, or upset, until he almost pulls his side arm to blow me away for checking a light I knew worked 4 hours earlier. What ever happened to common sense?

Back to the subject. Community policing is alive & well in Evansville.. Good Job!

On Janesville police seeking district's former IT boss

Posted on October 31 at 9:25 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

This loser got hired because he didn't have a criminal record in his background check. Bet that background check doesn't come clean for his next job.

I work with viruses, mail-ware, spam, etc. & I'll bet the farm that this BoZo quit when he did because he knew someone smarter then he was going to enter the picture, sooner, rather then later, so he took the money & ran. He apparently ran with the hopes that the interm replacement wouldn't catch his scheme for a while, which is exactly what happened. Having said that, we can't blame the replacement for not moving any quicker to find the thievery, or blame the IT employees for not fixing that trojan, because its my belief the IT manager, Slick hands Keirns placed the trojan in the school system network for personal profit. He's not the only one in the country to do it, & he won't be the last. What needs to happen here is "over sight." Its clear to me that when humans are put in place of other peoples money, in a good percentage of the cases, said humans are untrustworthy. If i had over-sight over Mr Brandon during his tenure, I think i would have been suspicious when he was buying software from one or maybe two companies. Suspicious enough to at-least check out why he's not shopping for the best prices.

This guy stole money from children, & needs to have his gluteus maximus thrown under the jail. The fact that he's on the run tells me, Keirns knows its very possible a judge might think so also. Too bad firing squads, or the electric chair's were outlawed in Wisconsin.

Go get em JPD!

On Obama speech blackout draws policy proposal

Posted on October 1 at 6:24 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

If Stottler wants her children to sit & watch Obama give a speech, its her God Given right to let them sit & watch it. But I don't send my kids to watch speeches. I don't trust a man who has to run to convince children to push their parents to vote for him, as Barak Obama did during his campaign for President (Sat morning cartoons featuring Obama). Now he can't get his Socialist Health Plan through as easy as he'd hope to, so.. back to the kids again. The guy has an agenda, & he's proven he'll use children to obtain it. Speaking of agenda.. Google, "Codex Alimentarius".. You've got to December 31st to learn all you can about this Trade Commission that will be taking over the WHO member Countries Food Regulations. They've been trying to get the last hold out WHO member (the USA) for the last 10 yrs. It took the Obama Administration to finally win us. I think you'll be as surprised as I was the other day when I found it.

On Parents, board question if Chinese program should be mandatory

Posted on October 1 at 6:05 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

Educators in this Country still don't get it! Has anyone paid any attention to the reason for the high drop out rate? Does anyone give a damn in this city? Kids already have a had time with getting through the curriculum! You have already forced Spanish on our kids, & lets face it, English has become the second language, & now you want it to be third behind with Chinese. Why can't we do what makes sense, & make the Spanish speaking immigrants learn English. Let English speaking American's learn Spanish, Chinese, Russian, or whatever.. IF THEY WANT TO. Too bad we voted Socialist, boarding communist, to the School Board. Too bad we can't see some of these school board members in action before we vote for them. Take note constituents.. I know I won't be casting votes for a few board members again.

On Can a Hooters girl coach Janesville high school poms?

Posted on September 29 at 1:07 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

I thought when I first read this story.. its one of the dumbest reasons I've ever heard of for not hiring someone "because she works at Hooters!" I've heard of anal retentive, & over board, but I thought this took the cake.. then I read in the gazette this morning, the School board is at it again! AND I wouldn't have heard anything about it, if i didn't read the gazette!.. NOW they want to make children learn ANOTHER language (i.e. MANDATORY). Chinese is the next target language. ANYONE else see a pattern yet? 1st Spanish, now Chinese, whats next? BYW..google "Codex Alimentarius Commission" As of December, they'll be our food police. Socialism never died. It laid low, & now is in the White House, & our School Board. Our tax dollars hard at work turning America into Cold War Russia. When.. Oh when.. will the blind & deaf open their eyes & ears?

On Phantom permit baffles commission

Posted on September 24 at 3:01 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

Wow.. Great timing for running this story. I was actually thinking of scheduling a second walk through of a Milton home my wife, & I are considering purchasing, not far from that plant. I'm sure that appointment will not be scheduled. And it also bothers me that Councilmen or women, conduct city business this way. It actually makes me wonder about their ethics. Lets face the facts. That permit was pushed through in the beginning to get the plant to Milton for the tax revenue. I can't believe all members of the council, had no idea for over 3 yrs the permit was voided by a Judge. I wish, just once a politician would just tell the truth! "I don't recall", "I didn't know", is old and in these kinds of cases its unbelievable that all of you, "didn't know." And regarding the odor neighbors have been complaining about since the Opening of the plant. For United Ethanol to say that, "none of the odor complaints originate from that facility" is just ridicules! AND for the city to say, "but that's not yet certain, so the city needs to investigate whether or not that is the case," PLEASE.. Its just coincidental the odor just popped up right after the plant was up & running? Before the plant opened, the neighbors in that area had complained about nasty odors? Instead of paying some desk jockey thousands of dollars to bring his clip board out, along with his little hand held scientific gizmo that smells odors.. pay me $200, I'll come out, use my car, and my nose. Drive towards the plant sniffing, determining at what point I smell the offending odor. When my nose locks on to the smell, I'll drive to where the smell over powers me (maybe $300), right up to the epicenter (Oh wait.. thats earth quakes). Anyways.. Once I reach the offending odor's central location. I'll get out of my car, investigate until i have the criminal odor in exact location. Once thats completed.. just to make sure.. I'll drive away from said location.. again using my nose.. snif, snif, snif.. & determine how far you can actually live from the offenders location, without being offended. I'll type up a report for you guys. Oh.. BTW. I want the payment before the work gets done. Its not that I don't trust you guys.. its just good business.. On my part *wink*

On Janesville School Board to discuss "controversial" federal stimulus funds

Posted on September 24 at 2:21 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

They know dang good & well they're taking it! We see this in congress a lot too, & I'm just fed up with politicians who pretend to be treading sensitive issues, so constituents will think.. "see they do care about our opinions. They're actually thinking of refusing 2.4 million dollars. I'm sure glad I called, faxed, or emailed their office to voice my disapproval of taking federal money." Just stop it, because no one buys it anymore. I saw in this morning gazette what your real concern is.. According to the reporter, Lori Stoddler @ lstottler@janesville.k12.wi.us ,wants to make it mandatory for our kids to sit and watch Obama on TV, during school time.. when Obama wants to talk directly to our kids. Some of you are suppose to be educators. "How many politicians in history can you come up with that, targeted children when they couldn't get the adults on board with their agenda?" Obama targeted our children during his campaign. Can anyone name leaders from history when got they're positions the same way? Out of the once you can think of, how many of those had "Czars" in their administrations? I guess its true. Even educators forget history.. which is why we're doomed to repeat it. I'm glad I home school my kids, & I'm for sure home schooling my grandson when he's ready.

Another human over-reaction in full swing! I can understand though. Look at all those deaths in the Country from H1N1.

Wash your hands once in a while if your paranoid about it. Don't kiss strangers, or let them get too close.. don't want them to breathe on ya. Or better yet... ever see that movie from the 70's or 80's called (i believe), "Boy in the bubble".. they make those for anybody now. Go buy one.
