They are honoring your old packages by the way. The new owners state they fought for rights to the old computer system and will honor your packages for the next year. That gives you the opportunity to go in and they will pull up all your old packages from the old computer system and transfer to the new system.
On Local car wash has gone to the dogs

Just got back from washing my golden retriever. It was great to get all the dirt out of his hair from going to the dog park all winter. Usually I go to Petco which costs me $50. Today I spent $20 and got the whole process done in 24 minutes. If you have a long haired dog, it is hard to get done in less than that. But, he did great going up the ramp. The place was really clean and warm enough. I will be using this place year round for my three dogs!!!

NO ONE SHOULD BE SLAMMING ON THEIR BRAKES ON THE INTERESTATE. THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC IS TOO FAST. DIDN'T ANYONE EVER TEACH THESE PEOPLE THAT? IF YOU ARE COMING INTO A WALL OF FOG...EVERYONE SHOULD BE SLOWING DOWN....NOT SLAMMING ON THEIR BRAKES. THAT IS HOW YOU WILL GET A SEMI IN YOUR BACKSEAT. THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO STOP NO MATTER HOW SLOW THEY ARE GOING. IF YOU ARE THAT SCARED TO DRIVE ON THE INTERSTATE..STAY HOME. YOU CAN ANTICIPATE THESE HAZARDS AND PREPARE YOURSELF WITHOUT PANICKING AND CAUSING AN ACCIDENT BY STOPPING YOUR VEHICLE ON A FAST MOVING HIGHWAY. The same thing happens when people slam on their brakes as they are exiting the interstate ramps. You should never have your brakes on until you are OFF the interstate. You should be slowing down gradually leading up to the ramp. When your tires enter the ramp, then brake. NOT BEFORE!!!

I would like to hear from actual neighbors of Wal-mart on why in the world they care whether an RV is parked in Walmart's parking lot for 1 hour or 12 hours?

I am a paramedic and I can't tell you how many people don't pay attention to our emergency vehicles. People are too busy in their vehicles to notice our lights and in turn, delay our arrival. It is a daily frustration I deal with. No matter what side of the road the emergency vehicle is on, you need to pull to the side of the road when you see it, unless you are on the interstate. Don't pull over on the interstate, just get into the far right lane.

Go figure that Janesville actually has something like this and no one knows about it!
On Party bust is 'fine-line' case

I think they had every right to come onto the property. A drunk 16 year old driving through lawns and then reports the illegal party going on. There was also a noise complaint. If they get a complaint, they have to go to the house and warn people. The kids wouldn't answer the door. That's suspect enough. They were asking for it by taunting them. I think they should have called for the warrant, but only to cover their asses. If they would have gone to that house for the noise complaint but never entered or called for a warrant and something would have happened to one of those kids, then we would be writing comments on how they neglected the situation.

MIYATA
People use the park all the way to the creek with their dogs. The creek is what makes the PETA so wonderful for us. So until there is a line or some signs drawn showing where the dog park stops and starts, I imagine we have every right to be there with our dogs. They can't just expect people to pick an imaginary line. If an officer chewed you out, you should have pointed that out so that could be corrected.
I think there should be some commication from the city regarding the true perimeters of the park. How else are users supposed to know?

FYI. Before judging him, realize she had 2 prior guilty convictions for DUI according to CCAP. It is sad to see these young people making fatal mistakes that is so commonly done by so many people without these kind of consequences. Both of these families are now suffering because of this. No matter who was driving, it appears they both have made this kind of mistake in the past. I hope that both families are realizing that and not blaming just him. Hopefully, we can all be reminded of not drinking and driving after these recent deaths.
