Well the first step would be to include the non-emergency number in the article. Don't call 911, call the "other" number. Per the city's website:
•For emergency situations where immediate police, fire, or medical response is needed call 911.
•To request police service for a non-emergency situation, call 757-2244. The police dispatcher will take the necessary information and send an officer to help you. Some typical non-emergency calls are for noise complaints and barking dogs. If you are not sure if the situation is an emergency, call 911.
•For general information, call 755-3100. Use this number if you have general questions and do not need to see a police officer. Some typical calls for information include questions about parking tickets and accident reports.

Get em Frank! I appreciated the updates since I travel 190 on weekends. The same no-life complainers who apparently never leave their house have nothing better to do then leave negative comments about whats posted. Heres a thought, why don't you people stop reading the online stories? Or become a reporter for the Gazette since you all seem to know whats newsworthy and whats not and have all the answers.

Tomatoes from my garden, farmers market prices are too high so the rest comes from Woodmans due to pricing. Last month strawberries at the farmers market were $4, Woodmans was $1.75, just one example.

The turn of the century Stonefield village in Cassville is fun, especially when they have the live events. You can also tour Gov Deweys mansion there. The state park also has miles of trails in the bluffs with outstanding views of the river. Villa Louis in Prairie Du Chien is another historic mansion to tour.
