Cutebutnameless what happened to the old school cops who got things done? Police these days rely on tasers and systems to tell them where shots were fired so they can drive down the next block up so they don't have a confrontation. One thing cops do not have these days is real world experience. "hey, you have an associated degree, and your an only child, your hired. By the way heres your taser and look for the black people."

I hate the people in the morning when you just want your coffee and are in a hurry. Why do some peole have to totally reorganize thier wallet or pocketbook after you get change back. If you know your going to write a check fill it out before you get in the store. Don't get the total then hunt for your checkbook or debit card when thier are people waiting behind you. I know thier are lonely people but stop trying to talk about your dog sam to a cashier who's been at work for seven hours and wishs you would get the heck out of the way so she can checkout the other seven people who want to choke you. Thats my two cents

It's funny that when you see video's and read articles about police tasering the population. They show a 200 pound cop tasering a small woman or several cops standing around while a medium sized male gets tasered. What happened to cops physically restraining suspects that are being disorderly. All these young cops are just in the game for the authority that a badge,gun and tasor give them. You can't shoot them with a gun so you use a taser for the need to pull the trigger. I think thier all cowards. give me two minutes with an off duty cop. Thats my 2 cents.

Beloit has focused more money to get people to come to beloit than regulating the population through the police depatment. How many shootings have there been this year? AND I have a scanner programed to pick up everything thats not in the papers. Beloit has so many great activities geared toward the middle and upper middle class and they are forgetting to deal with the increasingly growing lower class pertaining to the high unemployment rate. Beloit is a great community and I will be here for life but the 21 year old cops suck.

The reason there will be no future social security is so the government can have one more thing under it's thumb. Social security is expexted in these days But in the future days it will give future politicians a reason to get voted in. Social security is nothing more than the modern day welfare. Only welfare shows the poor qualities while "social" sounds like it's a right for older americans. In the end it all comes from the same place. me and you.

What happened in Janesville is a natural occurance among old production facilities. They will never open this plant up again. It will sit for a couple years and then when the property value plummets a couple million more they'll come in and disassemble everything and take it to the junk yard for whatever scrap they can get out of it. The grounds will be donated to Janesville to give up the obligation to clean up ground contamination and then Janesville will have another bill to pay in a dead local economy. Look at what happened in Michigan when the auto makers pulled out of Detroit. The same thing happened in beloit when Fairbanks and the Beloit Corp took a crap during the last part of seniors top spot in the white house.

On Beloit homicide investigation

Beloit police. How many shootings have there been this year? This one took place at a complex that was involved in the drug raid last week. Maybe I am wrong on what Ive said about the police department. Maybe instead of shelling out millions to make the riverfront and downtown so attractive to tourists, money should be spent on more policemen/policewomen and training.
