Sorry to mislead copperguy; I was just assuming that the board came to an agreement to settle since the meetings have been scheduled and canceled. I have no facts otherwise. And speaking from personal experience most court room cases get settled in the 11th hour before a hearing.

Copperguy; I have stayed away from the blogs for a while, but want to say that your post put things in perspective.
We ALL need to stop fighting and use this experience to learn from. This tragedy for the McCue's should bring togetherness to the board. It shows us that none of us are any different from each other, as any of the current board members or us bloggers could be in Craig's shoes. If we were, wouldn't we want to know that the other board members cared enough and respected our opinion to carry out the last board directive, until we could get back on our feet?
Bob Wenzel has a wealth of knowledge and is an asset to the board. he knows Craig has a good heart and good intentions to do right by the village.
I know that both Wenzel and Abbott will work with the other board members to resolve this animosity and get the chief back to work, without having a costly hearing, after all isn't that what the full board voted for? To come to a resolution?
Let's honor that board's decision, as if Craig were there and do the right thing.
