On Lindau removed from TAGOS

Posted on August 11 at 1:11 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

My son has been a student at Tagos for two years and also commented on this article. Mr. Lindau was a huge asset to the students at Tagos and I hope many of them make it without him. He had a way with those kids I have never seen, patience, understanding, and keeping their heads up no matter what situation needed to be faced. The person whom he made "uncomfortable" must not know him, as he has a wonderful family and would not have been "hitting on her."Mr. Lindau cared very much for his career and loved working and helping these troubled kids. He has faith in each and every one of them. He brought life and happiness and everything positive to Tagos as all the staff there does but, he will be greatly missed by my kids and our family. We have teachers that molest students, teachers busted for drugs, sexual relationships with teachers and students, etc. and they are actually going to find that he needs to be removed from a school he pretty much started and put everything into always trying to better it with bright, new, exciting ideas that will keep the kids interested and keep them in school. Wonder if this woman is happy with what she has managed to take away from these kids. I am sorry, but really??? Over a wiener!!!

Yes, this is true. Testing my memory, but I want to say 2-3 years ago.

As people will read, she did get the maximum for a juvenile. It is a sad situation all the way around, but hopefully she will finally take life seriously and take the help she is offered and make a better life for herself. She just turned 14 and yes, it is old enough to make better choices than she made, but without help after what happened to her brother and the lifestyle she has lived in, she is not the first to turn to drugs and alcohol to help her through it all. Don't get me wrong...I don't condone by any means. Hope this mother can come to terms after what could have been the loss of a second child (in a way, it is as she will come out an adult) that maybe she should get some help too. As a parent of a child involved in what Ashlee has been in 14 short years, she has to put some blame on herself and realize she needs to open her eyes.

Hopefully they will keep her until she is at least an adult and with this treatment she can go on to be a healthy part of society. Hope the parents get some help also, sounds like they need it as much...if not worse.

Maybe these boys did have a crappy family life...but they are adults which is a little different than a 13 year old, don't you think??

On Teens arrested in overdose death

WHOAH!!!! Bit of an anger problem I see. I did do something...I opened my home to him, and I also called CPS. You should really settle down. This was my opinion from what I saw going on. This 13 year old boy had, and I believe has a lot of potential with the right people in his life. He did not not deserve this for his wake up call. And I believe if HIS own mother was involved it could have been prevented. Thank you for your opinion... I did what was in my power to do, and from there I protected my own child from what I saw as a potentially dangerous situation. And whether you think so or not, I believe I made a good decision.

I never said they should not be arrested, I do think they should be arrested and charged, with something...maybe not homicide, but, yes, they do need to learn a very hard lesson. I do hope though they don't just get thrown away. I also feel that the blame cannot be put strictly on the kids involved.
