On Darien board, police chief discuss coverage issue
Small towns should have term limits on good old boy polititians. Oldsters have no clue how to be creative with taxpayer money.
On Virginia man hurt in dive off pier
Fontana should maybe check out the facilities they offer - dillinger has a valid point!
On Administrator, chief decisions still on hold in Darien
They are onto him, matter of time now... wait for it......
pofdc7 you need to give respect to board members with a whole brain and condemn the idiots.
Go ahead, name 'em.
On No change to Darien police services
Don't be 'speaken ill' of me 4_2illiterate....
4_(not)2leveled headedRe: your comment of 4/22 - all part-time officers did NOT decline to work. One was never offered the option.
Konopski has had no work scheduled for over 4 months. Had he been put on some fill-in time slots, it would have saved the village a ton of costly overtime.
But the little guy either doesn't like Konopski, or else he might be afraid of him.
Either way, Maltese is costing the village a TON of money.
Can YOU CONTEMPLATE THIS?
Why don't you tell the residents how this is OK?
one and 4_2 - BOTH wrong, I'm not williepeter. Also, 4_2 - which ex-wife?
blacktaz - Maltese is not qualified to be chief. He doesn't even know how to do his present job. Ask any cop in Walworth County. He has asked THEM what to do on occasion.
He is such a potential liability to the village it's not funny.
Mark my words.
Unless you be speaken ill of anyone.
Many people speak at board meetings, citizens are allowed to. This is America.
