"especially with the furor in Madison, Dresang said."
Really. I seem to remember an election that a majority of the 'voting' population voted for. He is doing what he said he was going to do and the majority of the people appreciate it. I would like to see this "educator" eliminated from his position if he can't tell the difference from a mass murderer and an elected official. Note the word "the" not "a".

On Would you support the idea of toll roads in Wisconsin?

Posted on October 8 at 7:39 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

We already pay a toll to drive on our roads, it's 32.9 cents per gallon. If the state would do away with the gas taxes then sure, I'm fine with toll roads. Just remember though, tolls usually only go up just like in NY City where it used to cost a semi truck $40.00 just to cross a 1/10 mile bridge and they want to raise it to $90.00 by 2014. We pay for all those commercial tolls in ALL the products we buy.

I build models too, except I usually do semi trucks. Been building them since I was probably 10 or so. I have my 100 kit stash waiting for retirement to build, hmmmm retirement.... Just wish local hobby shops would stock more semi kits, I usually hit Rockford or the swap meets to fill my shelves. Great story!

On Nerves fray as hearing enters 12th hour

The bottom line for me is this. I work hard for the 65% of my gross pay that I get to take home. I am tired of paying for public employees pension benefits, especially when I don't get one. The least these public employees can do is pay for it themselves. I am sick and tired of paying for my health care benefits plus the healthcare benefits of the public employees. Why should they not have to pay anything and expect me to pay it for them??? Walker is not asking you to take a pay cut, he made sure that your wages are still subject to collective bargaining!
On another note, If I would call in "sick" to work and it was found, out that I was not, I would be taking a risk of loosing my job, how about the public employees?
