The way I see it is this...I was working at Sentry on the east side when Pick N Save opened on the south side. For about a month the traffic flow through Sentry was slow, and I didn't see the regulars I was used to seeeing. After about a month, those loyal customers came back to Sentry. They went to check out the new store, with it's "new car smell", but came back to the store with the faces they knew and the customer appreciation they deserved from the associates at Sentry. So I believe it is about the person providing the service, and not the "name" that makes the difference. Those loyal to Mercy will stay, those that aren't will "shop around."

nicksmom--I have been a member of the JAC for over 5 years now and absolutely love everything it has to offer. I don't think that just because people have not commented on this article it means that they don't value their personal health and well being. Maybe they are outside injoyed this beautiful fall weather, and getting some fresh air and exercise in the process, instead of sitting at their computer. That being said...see ya, the dog and I are going for a walk!

Tusker, I am with you. Just because a person owns a dog doesn't mean that the dog needs to be allowed everywhere the owner goes. There are people who do not particularly care for dogs, they make them feel uncomfortable. I am a dog owner, and I love her dearly, but she is fine with staying home while I do other things. I believe there is a time and a place to have your dog with you, and the Farmer's Market is not an appropriate place. Of course, this is my own personal opinion.

We have always had great food and service at these 3, short distance away, supper clubs---The Village Inn in Footville, Luke's Supper Club in Milton, and Finn's on the river in Newville. I will recommend these three places to anyone who asks! In fact...I feel kinda hungry...LOL
