For milk, bread, eggs or spuds and onions we stop at Kwik Trip across from Sentry on Court street. They are Way cheaper there. Sentry is just too high priced. You have got to love they way they jacked their prices way up as soon as we lost the Pig.

Woodman's produce department gives the landfill's compost pile a run for its money. I'm always afraid the bugs that swarm around the onion bin are carriers of malaria or something. Overall, Woodman's selection is great, but you always must check the dates on EVERYTHING. Once I had to alert a stockperson that every pound of a particular brand of butter was a month past the due date. She came out with a big cart and removed it all.

Is it fair to blame Skinner for what happened in that spot previously? YES It is the responsibility of the owner to keep the riff-raff out by providing an atmosphere conducive to orderly behavior and to have able-bodied personnel for security.
Are Truman and Perrotto sending mixed messages about economic development when it involves serving alcohol? NO
Would requiring a bond be wise or unfair to Skinner? YES It has to be either wise or unfair- what other choices are there?

I don't know why you didn't disable the comments for this story. It came as a shock to me actually. So... here goes- This guy is scum. He got off way too easy. I think he should get double what he got especially considering he did this to not only an elderly woman, but his OWN GRANDMOTHER!!! Actually he shouldn't get out until he is 76 years old.
