On Deputies reporting icy roads near Janesville

First off all too fast for conditions? What conditions, there was no snow, no rain (to cause ice), it was kind of a freak thing that there was ice on the road. And yes 'concrete' it is a wonder that people still want to do the job.

Get over it people, yes I like most would love if the cashier counted my change back, or told me the total, or even told me how much changed I was getting. Truth is it just doesn't happen. I like most these days don't carry cash, and am irritated by the fact that I have to slide my debit/credit card myself. Oh well it's a sign of the times. Just think years ago, you didn't pump your own gas, and the attendant checked your oil, and other fluids, plus in most cases topped them off if low, at little to no cost.
Steve while I'm sure you made this young lady feel completely at ease when her register when out, which wasn't her fault. Maybe you should think about anybody at work doing there job, when some part of there job goes on the fritz, or breaks down. Oh I'm sure you are just the cool as a cucumber kind of a guy, but most if not all of us have a moment of the oh $h!t syndrome. So how about just laying off the simple folks, or just a moment. You could have written a blog about this same topic without being so insulting to this young lady.

Yup kids need something to do, and I'm sure because of this all kids will take up skateboarding. Have no lessons been learned from any of the other public skate parks? Most have been closed for the same reasons. Disorderly conduct, drug complaints, and vandalism, just to name a few. I'm all for this if the city takes the proper precautions to prevent this type of thing. And by proper precautions I don't mean one or two cameras, and the police department babysitting.

FIrst off this is an ordinance not a law. Second some are assuming that this women was ticketed for this, per her quote "we could actually be fined". Third save your outrage people, as most cities have an ordinance similar to this.

To the Milton class of 2012 way to go, be proud of yourselves. Thinking of others is not always the easiest thing to do. Way to go, pave the path and set the example of what it really means to be exceptional.

Great story about some local guys trying their hand at something they love. Good luck guys. I would however like to inquire as to where the Gazette thinks 1062 Fulton street is? Edgerton has east and west Fulton street, but neither has 1062. Such a small detail, but you would think it would be something that would be correct in a story such as this. I'm pretty sure the address is 106 1/2 West Fulton Street. Once again GOOD LUCK GUYS hope your are able to make all your hard work pay off.

Hmmm I wonder if they will be highlighting how well the city of Milton works with local businesses such as the Milton travel center. I'm guessing they'll leave that one out.
