On Ryan challenger touts fundraising

just wait till the corporations start pouring money into his (Ryan's) account. but we won't talk about that when it happens. it's called "fund raising"
Hmm...Lets see...what makes more sense? Who would you rather have supporting candidates to represent the people?
Unions, who fight and stand for middle class workers' rights and best interests?
Or
Corporations, who fight for and stand for...themselves...and money...for themselves.
Boy, that sure is a tough call.

WI69, I think you just exemplified how blind the right can be. Once again, you've managed to misrepresent the facts of the argument to try and make a silly comment. You're so silly 916.

wdonna, with all due respect, I think the point that others are trying to make is that the state is not "broke" as Scott claims. You know, his reasoning for busting the union and sticking to the middle class. I don't think anyone is suggesting that all construction stop. I think it's just that our governor is not being completely honest. So maybe you should think about getting a grip dude.

Roasty Toasty: you're getting played man...seriously, I only wish I were a Republican. I could literally take money out of the hard working middle class' hands in order to pad the pocket books of my rich buddies. While at the same time have the poor middle class chump that I'm taking money from support me.
Crazy...time to start opening your mind a little.

So lets start with middle class first, right Cass? What a joke.
This next comment isn't mine, but it's making it's way through blogsphere. Seems to really put things in perspective.
"A union public sector worker, a Tea Party member and a Koch brother were sitting around a table. In the middle of the table was a plate with a dozen cookies. The Koch brother reaches across and takes eleven of the cookies, then turns to the Tea Party member and says, Look out for that union thug, he wants a part of your cookie."

hmm...makes since. I mean what sounds better to you: local representatives supported by the rich and business owners or representatives supported by we the people...seems to make sense to me, but judging by the comments that are already here, I'm guessing this probably won't resonate with some.
If politicians are swayed by their donors (maybe they are maybe they aren't--although like or not, most probably are), would you rather have them acting in the best interests of rich billionaires or the middle class.
