I received this publication in the mail & didn't think twice about the cover. But maybe that's just because I'm a dumb white girl who is predisposed to racism....that, or I just don't go around seeking drama and issues where there are none.

Ken had given us the use of his "Green Grid" roof for my husband's and my wedding in 2006. He was a generous visionary who truly showed everyone what a diamond in the rough Beloit could be.
You're going to be missed Ken.

On Janesville's GM plant to close

I am really sorry the people of Janesville are going through this. I grew up in the area and many of my relatives worked for GM. At one time, getting into GM was the "golden ticket" for high school grads. How sad that things change. I hope Janesville and the surrounding area can bounce back from this. Those who are going to lose their jobs have my sympathies.
