On F&F Tire opens two new stores

I learned my lesson at F&F Tire. I will never buy or have anything fixed there again. I remember dealing with someone who called himself honest. He was nothing but a thief, overcharged me and did work that I did not authorized. This is the only store that has ever ripped me off.

Look at it this way Mickie would you want your parents coming into your house and make decisions for you and your family because you are failing miserably? It is the same in Government. Legally the Federal govt. had no authority to help unless it was requested by the state. It is that simple.

On If Kennedy is qualified, why wasn't Palin?

Lets face it the Media doesn't ask hard questions or go after people they like. Reporter's should ask hard questions and followup on those questions and sometimes the answer. Most of the times the politicians dance around the question and never answer it, while the reporters let them get away with it. No one can argue that the reporters covering Obama gave him easy questions, while Palin they tried and did knock her down. I am not saying that theyb should of been easy on her, but they should be just as hard on the opponent. What they did to Joe the Plumber was just wrong. It made the next person who wanted to question a politician wonder if they should just keep their mouth shut. Yes Joe put himself out there when he decided to campaign for McCain, but did the reporters go after any of the democrats with such animosity. Even Kennedy right now isn't getting air time with the questions and answers they she is definetly under par with. The news should be impartial and accurate period. The media drives who we elect. If you are comfortable with that then good for you. I for one one would like to see honest and impartial reporting for once.

Zoom a question for you. Do you believe it was a good thing to get Suddam out of power? I for one believe it was, do I believe that mistakes were made? Yes very much so. Hindsight is always better than foresight. Entering Iraq only opened many more smaller problems. Only time will tell if it was good thing to do.

Democrats blaming the Republicans Republicans blaming the Democrats. When will we as a nation wake up? They are both at fault and we are at fault in voting them in in the first place. By the way Justsayno oral sex is sex if you don't believe anyone else on this believe all of the the inmates sitting in prisons for sexually assulting underage girls. Even the former President should have known this. It doesn't take being a Rhode Scholar, an attorney, Attorney General as your background in Law to know that he perjured himself in a sworn testamony. Perjury is a crime that is punishable by a term in Prison.

First off let me say that I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat. I believe politicians from both parties will say anything to get elected. Now for Sarah Palin I have to say that I do like her, but was she qualified to be VP when she was choosen by McCain. I would have to say no. I wasn't her fault, she had no desire before that moment to go onto the national scene. Does that mean that she would not have made a good VP or yet a good President, of course not. We can look at history and it is loaded with individuals picked from obscurity who rose to the occassion and it can also be said just the oppossite as well. No one can argue with her qualifications as Governor of Alaska. It is like comparing apples to oranges. If we look at Obamas qualification for President same could be said. Besides his celebrity status what did he bring to the podium. Now Caroline Kennedy a person I also like, is she qualified to be a Senator? The answer to that one is no. But I for on would like to see all the current politicians out of office and that we would start over. The difference is that at least Palin went through the elective process, while Kennedy never has. Are current system will never change because we keep electing politicians to the office.

I have to agree with you on that one Mathew, the government is corrupt. The Big 3 along with the autoworkers got theirs while the American Taxpayer will get the bill.

So Local you are telling me that you would rather see a Corporation go Bankrupt rather than open up negotiations and change a contract? Am I wrong in that assumption? Looks like the American Taxpayer will bail out at least 2 of the Big Three, but how long will that money last. I for one would rather see the companies survive but if the employees don't care then why should I, and why should the American Taxpayer keep pouring money into a big sinking ship? You said it yourself, the autoworkers made good money because the auto companies were making a tremendous profit. Everything that I heard is that now they are not, in fact they are loosing money. How long can a company stay a float even with the backing of the American Taxpayer?

Local95, tell me why then if GM made Billions upon Billions off of the sweet of the autoworker that we need to Bail them out? I agree if a company is making a good profit they should pay a great wage as in the case of the autoworker. But they are not making the profits like they were. Who can argue that they are making fantastic wages for the work that they performed and lets not forget the unbelieveable benefits that they also received. So why shouldn't the taxpayers demand that all of the employees of the big three receive a wage that is fair compared to other factory jobs then? You have a MBA so maybe you can explain to the rest of us what happens when a company isn't making a profit and they keep paying their employee's high wages?
