I'll ask that question tomorrow when I cover the training. I don't think many people will be there for 12 hours. I think most will come and go for a couple hours when their department can cover their patrol shifts.

I have the same problem with the fish oil. I was told it would help to take them at the same time as a big plate of greens. I'll admit that I was turned off and don't use them. I've had a bottle in the fridge for about 2 years.

We add ground flax to much of our baked goods and into smoothies to get our Omega-3. It makes very fluffy pancakes! You can add flax oil to smoothies, instead, if you like.

Also, I make my own salad dressing. Then I know I'm getting healthy fat on the salad.

Thank you everyone. Just yesterday, a Rock County ADA explained you don't have to be arrested to be charged with a crime.

Legal terms would be a great blog subject. I need the practice, anyway.

Thanks for your comment. When I wrote this, I thought that a question for a future story should be, "How do we compare to other counties?"

What you said about police training for mental illness also is really interesting.

Funny you should ask ... I gave a 10-year-old girl a scrapbooking kit and a couple disposable cameras for her birthday. Now I have to get the film developed. I was laughing at myself for thinking what a chore it was to have to physically go inside a store to drop off film.

The kids in my household have been really into printed photos lately.
