On Who's messing with Bessie? Landmark falls victim to vandals
The reason I am pissed off so much is when I come to Janesville it is the first thing I see to that reminds of home and where I had come form when I am there to visit family. To me Bessie is an important symbol of Janesville's identity and a important city landmark to me. I think it is just disrespectful that someone would stoop that low and vandalize a historic land mark that is part of Janesville's identity for 46 years very disrespectful
On Janesville City Council goes national to replace manager
I say hire some one local that has the experience and will stay in Janesville for a long time. You bring someone in from outside the city you don't know what you will end up with. I for 0ne would like to see a city manger come from with in Janesville that has experience and commitment to Janesville's future.
You know what how disrespectful can Janesville get to do that to a city land mark is just plain out disrespectful and dose not speak very well of Janesville. After seeing some of the comments in this article I am offended and have no respect for anyone living in Janesville because no one in that city has any respect for themselves or their city and it's history or landmarks. I am sorry for offending anyone but that is the reality of what Janesville has become. Nothing more than disrespectful people that are hell bent on destroying their city how sad. By they way when the comes time to pay the bill for this guess who pays for it the taxpayers do like the that **** works.
