I have no trouble using some of the money to fix the budget. Why do we have a shortfall? Because many in Wisconsin are not paying their property taxes! Why should this federal money go to people who were careless and reckless with money and their mortgages? We should not give them more money and have them screw up again.

I think it is time we stop spending on renovating and expanding our school buildings. We will need to start consolidating schools and begin discussion on having only 1 high school.

Gandalf, I should of been more clearer. The shortfall is due to less taxes being collected on things such as home sales. Why should this money not be used to help with the shortfall? Do you really think it is wise to give more money to people who already showed they are irresponsible with it?
