Wow sounds like a lot of self centered and selfish people on here to me. Bad things seem to stick out in life more than the good. Then comes the poor me thing. Still wonder why society has so much bad and negative stuff. I also had a tuff uprising but others have had it tuffer than me (thats how I look at it) I love both my parents for I am alive and appreciate the happiness I have in my life. They must have done something right. Even if it was that I learned from the bad. What are you teaching your children. Your teaching them to hate. Just something to think about.

ilovetech, I am not sure how you would know when papers are sent home to students at different schools in the Janesville school district when your children are from Monroe. But either way speaking for myself something like a budget calendar at the beginning of the year would be nice. BeloitGuy, its funny because I have heard alot about the differences between Beloit and Janesville's schools and they do seem to have some ideas we could learn from.

I am a single mom of two. It would be nice if they thought of the families of children in the school district when in comes to finances. Maybe a budget calendar at the beginning of the year and when things are going to be due such as milk money, field trip money, ect. It seems like every week my elementary age child comes home with a note needing money for this and that. It is hard to jump with money like that.

I agree. I so want to go to this but with such a late notice 25 minutues. I probly cant make it. But I am very interested in volunteering some of my time.

Some of you seem a little unknowledgable with the assistance program. (clearing my throaght hannah) To get assistance you have to fall under the poverty level or under the $$$ requirements that the government has set up.

Brodhead if a very small town with a big drug problem. I only know a handful of people from there and all of them have been in trouble with drugs. Its sad because brodhead could be a nice place to raise kids.

I think it is us as a community that we need to look at in how we treat people/strangers around us. In a whole. Of course counsiling and parents are an issue but again we all can help in how we treat others todays society can be very harsh and judging and negative.
