I agree Alyssas71! Since it was posted on the news the night before, I had no reason to wake up that early!! Today it was at least after 6am when the call went out that there was a 1 hr. delay...but again...it was on the news.

there are many reasons why people are deciding to commute back and forth besides needing to sell their houses. hope they would offer flights with multiple departure times dut to the different shifts. it would be nice to only need to drive to Rockford vs. O'Hare to drop off/pick up, but it is also significantly more expensive than flights departing from O'Hare.

You do realize that this article is strictly about St. Elizabeth Home and Manor. It has nothing to do with Rock Haven! Just because one facility has a waiting list doesn't mean every nursing home does.

pcmagic1...are you serious?? You know these families that well to call them all of those names? If you did you wouldn't of posted your comment in the first place. You have a job here in the area...great! You get to hug and kiss your family every day...great! Sounds like you won't be faced with trying to make the decisions that the GM families have had to. The Gazette is the one that was seeking people to do this story on, it's not like the commuters from GM called them. It is comments like yours that made me decide not to subject my husband, myself and my kids to comments like yours! Nice holiday spirit you have! Merry Christmas (and grow up)!
