Hannah,
It needed conditional use permits because the underlying zoning does not support a bar. So, conditional use permits are modifications to the underlying zoning in order to allow a use that was not originally intended.
Hannah, work on your reading comprehension a bit, ok dearie? I did not say "One should not own more than one establishment" I stated that the argument that this provides a job for a "laid off GM worker" is disingenuous. There's a difference.

This is so indicative of why the "creative class" in Janesville appears to consist of a semi- literate kid with a broken etch-a-sketch. And also why the rest of the state considers the city as purgatory between Madison and Beloit.

Ask Mr. Schwartz if he'd take a bar like this, with an operator who has been convicted of DUI's and Drug use in front of Madison's ALRC. It'd be shot down and ripped apart. Ah, standards. How nice it'd be if we had any in Janesville.

Wow, what's this? Wholesale attacks by the bud light NASCAR set on seniors that have lived in the area for years? Nice.
Advice: if you really don't want it in your neighborhood, call the city planning department and ask how you get a verified zoning petition going.
As for baiting seniors, that's just disgusting. This proposed zero- personality biker bar brings nothing at all tithe community. And the sob story about convicted drug user/drunk driver Dewitt needing a job is beyond ridiculous. He already owns another vapid, vaccuous establishment where the barely sentient already hang out. What's this, an attempt to franchise? Lol, the empty taco bell has more personality.

I have no idea who the "joker" is. But to address your previous missive, wannabe, I am the way that I am because I walk through life implicitly aware of my superiority. I am reminded of it every day when I read the Janesville Gazette, or when I drive down Milton Ave behind some moron in a truck with a Matt Kenseth/Dale Earnhardt sticker on it.

Ah, yes. Success in janesville is akin to receiving a "b" in remedial math. This is a basic bar, nothing more. Max creation of what, 3 part time jobs that pay less than walmart? No thanks. The editorial in the paper was painful to read, not only because it was written poorly, but also by someone who clearly doesn't understand economics.

Hannah, Dearie, I'd engage you, but you wouldn't get it. I'm wondering if you've been "touched by the angels".

Wow Kris, envious much? The truth is I cashed out at 30 because I could. I don't really have to work, but I choose to, and work hard. But go ahead, be my guest and continue to "analyze" me. It's amusing. Like watching a baby horse try valiantly to rise to his feet for the first time.

Nice try, kawisixer, but it means "balls". Urban dictionary, eh? Now if you spoke Italian, you might understand it better. I suspect I may be the only person in the glorious, cultural powerhouse that is the City of Janesville that speaks Italian. What you may be reaching for is the word, "finochio".
Perhaps your stucazzo might be a little misshapen from all that time spent on your crotch rocket, no?

No JSB, I pass out $5.00 bills and a bit of karma.
